Hwiyoung <Request>

You were walking home after school when your phone sounds from within your bag. Stopping in your tracks, you  take off your bag before grabbing ahold of your phone seeing that you have a video call request.

A smile instantly makes it way onto your face when you see whose name appears. Quickly pressing answer you say "Hwiyoung!! Hi!". You watch him laugh as he replies "hey there jagi!", waving excitedly at you.

You smile happily at him as you wave back before asking "so how's studying overseas been? I miss you", pouting after finishing your sentence. Your boyfriend smiles sadly back at you as he says "it's been alright, but I miss you too Y/N".

"And hey, don't look so down" Hwiyoung comments before making a bunch of silly faces. You burst into laughter loving how easily your boyfriend can just make any situation better. "Ahh there's the smile I love so much" he says after you calm down from your laughter, you blush at his compliment and he grins at your reaction.

Just as your about to say something, something catches Hwiyoung's attention from the side and you watch as he sends you an apologetic smile before disappearing out of sight. Tilting your head to the side in confusion, you stand out on the street still as you wait for him to come back. After a few minutes he still hasn't come back and you start to get worried as you call his name out.

A few seconds later he appears back onto the screen saying "hey... I got to go right now okay?... Bye..". He quickly ends the video call before you can even mutter a goodbye, leaving you standing there confused and slightly annoyed. Sighing you try not to worry as you make your way back home.

Finally reaching your house, you walk inside as you greet your parents. Going through the usual things, it reaches night and you drop down tired onto your bed. Just as your eyes are about to close, you hear a ringing sound and turn to see your phone light up on your bedside table. You contemplate whether to pick it up or just ignore it and go sleep, but your gut tells you better and so you groan as you answer the call.

Hearing Hwiyoung laughing, your face scrunches up in confusion before you blush hearing your boyfriend say "well I really wasn't expecting to be greeted by your ear but alright". You quickly pull the phone away and realise that he had once again video called, he smiles at you as you mumble "sorry I didn't bother to look at the screen".

He nods before rubbing the back of his neck, something you know he only does when he's nervous. "Hey.. I'm really sorry about how I acted when we were talking before, I forgot I had to do something" Hwiyoung explains.

Looking into his eyes, you can see he's telling the truth and so smile reassuringly at him. His face breaks out into a grin at your smile before he laughs lightly when you yawn tired. "You should get some sleep jagi.. I'll talk to you tomorrow okay?" he says and all you can do is just nod before you feel your eyes close shut.

"Goodnight Y/N, I love you" you hear Hwiyoung whisper and you feel a small smile tug at your lips before falling completely asleep.

The next day goes pretty much like normal and you find yourself walking home after another day of school. You phone suddenly rings again and you raise an eyebrow at it before shrugging your shoulders and checking the call.

Seeing Hwiyoung's name appear once again, you smile before happily accepting and watching as his face pops onto your phone. "Hey jagi!" your boyfriend says happily and you smile back at him replying "hey Hwi!".

"Just finished school?" He asks gesturing towards your school uniform, you look down before nodding and he nods too. "Your acting weird..." you say looking at him but all he does is laugh back in response. "I am? How?" Hwiyoung questions and you think for a while before saying "you just are...".

"Okay?..." he says looking at you strangely, you blush deciding to drop the subject. Your phone buzzes again and you laugh as he comments "oh someone's popular today", rolling your eyes you check your phone to see a message from your mum to hurry home she needs help with dinner.

Texting a quick reply, you pick up your pace and you continue talking to Hwiyoung about anything and everything. "Hey, I'll be right back I'm just going to close my window it's getting cold out" Hwiyoung says and you nod.

While he goes out of sight, you pick up your pace even more as you text your mum to let her know your almost home. Suddenly you bump into someone and quickly apologize before continuing walking as Hwiyoung appears on the screen smirking. Just as he says "it's alright", you stop right in your tracks as you swear you hear that exact voice say that from just behind you.

Looking at your boyfriend confused you lean closer to the phone screen noting something behind Hwiyoung. He opens his mouth to say something but you quickly shush him as you move your arm around and watch as the person on the screen does too. You gasp before turning around, hearing Hwiyoung laugh as your eyes land on his blonde hair.

Running to him, you hug him from the back as he laughs again before saying "oh what a surprise to bump into you here". You let go as he turns around, you punch him lighting in the chest as he smiles happily down at you. "I can't believe your here" you state looking at him in shock.

"Well, I can't believe you walked right pass me" he replies back pouting. You laugh lightly as you say "hey! I was in a rush to get home okay?". Your boyfriend smiles cheekily at you before saying "a rush huh?". You try to figure out what he's thinking when he suddenly picks you up, throwing you over his shoulder.

Screaming you hit his back repeatedly as you say "Oh my god Hwi! Put me down!". You hear him laugh as he says "I thought you were in a rush to get home?", but he puts you back down anyways. Mumbling you say "yeah yeah", he slings his arm over your shoulder before pulling you close to him as he says softly "I missed this".

Looking up at him, you find him already staring down at you and so you reply back "me too". He smiles before leaning down to kiss you, smiling against his lips you kiss him back. When he pulls away, he leans his forehead against yours as he says "I love you Y/N", smiling you reply "yeah yeah". He pouts at your answer making you laugh, "I love you too Hwiyoung" you say watching his pout turn into a smile before he hugs you tightly.
