"Sevyn promise me you'll stay away from Keenan. Ese chico esta loco," Monica tells her while they sit in English together. They're supposed to be comparing and contrasting differnt type of poetry but instead, Sevyn decided to fill Monica in on the drama that happened last period. Monica had to hear the story three times in order to believe that Keenan had really lost his mind like that.

Sevyn frowns at her friend, "It's not like I was talking to him intentionally Money. We were discussing an answer on the packet and one thing led to another and next think you know he's pushing me against a locker."

"I knew he was crazy but I didn't think he was bipolar too." Monica says.

"I guess he's still hung up on me." Sevyn looks around the class room. Surprisingly no one has come up to her asking about what happened. But then again, knowing how the school works, everyone probably turned to Carson for answers and, knowing Carson, she probably made up some bogus story. Sevyn doesn't care though. As long as no one is in her face bugging her about what happened she's fine.

"You know what you need?" Monica asks. Sevyn looks at her and raises an eyebrow. Monica grins, "You need to let loose and party. Macy's sweet sixteen is exactly what you need right now to relax and just have fun"

Sevyn rolls her eyes. Monica loves to party, she's had a fake ID since she was 14. Maybe it's because she acts and looks older than her age. She maybe sixteen but she carries herself with the personality of a 21 year old. From her red hair and creamy complexion to her dark eyeliner and lipstick, Monica fits the party girl image perfectly. She loves dressing up and going to clubs or house parties and that usually means dragging Sevyn along with her.

"Why can't you ever just go without me? I don't even like parties." Sevyn tells her with a pout.

"Cuz it won't be any fun without my best friend by my side." She says sadly. "I'm not letting you stay home, drowning in self pity while our whole grade it out partying next saturday night."

Sevyn glares at her through her dark side swept bang. "What's wrong with staying home, ordering pizza and watching re-runs of The Game?" She whispers as their teacher walks by them. "That way we dont have to kill our feet in heels."

"I like killing my feet in heels!" Monica retorts, then lowers her eyelids in annoyance as she stares at Sevyn. "I bet you'd go if you were still dating Keenan." She mumbles. Sevyn looks up at Monica in complete shock that she brought him up. Monica rolls her eyes, "Don't even front like you wouldnt cuz we both know you would. He had you wrapped around his finger Sevyn."

"Whatever," Sevyn mutters. "I'm not going to that stupid party."

"Yeah whatever," Monica mocks, making a face at her before going back to her work. Sometimes Monica finds it hard to deal with Sevyn. She's so naive sometimes that she refuses to see the bad side of things when it's neccesarry. They're complete opposites too, while Monica wants to party all night Sevyn would rather lounge around the house eating and watching tv. Maybe it's true that they say, opposites really do attract.

When the bell rings, Monica gathers up her stuff and leaves without waiting for Sevyn. She goes to her locker to grab her stuff so she can go home. As she puts her text books away someone leans on the locker next to her. She doesn't pay them any mind until they lean their head into her locker and takes a glimpse into her mirror. Monica gives her the stank face, "Excuse me chica, can a sista get some breathing room?"

The girl pulls back from the locker and smirks at her, Monica rolls her eyes and goes back to putting away her text books. "What do you want Janine?"

"The truth. I heard your girl Sevyn started alot of drama with Keenan earlier." Janines says with an arched eyebrow.

Monica purses her lips and looks Janine in her twinkling brown eyes. Janine has been Sevyn's enemy ever since Keenan dumped her for Sevyn. They compete with eachother at everything especially volleyball. Janine Westbrooke is kind of like the leader of all the chicken-heads running around school. She wears her hair in a high bun with big gold hoop earrings and wears Jordans just to get compliments on them. She's the biggest bi-sexual hoochie around school and Monica can't stand her just because of the fact that she brags about swinging for both teams like it's some kind of accomplishment.
