"Miss Mitchell, if you could kindly tell me what's going on, it would be much appreciated." Bennet said as I wrapped a blindfold around his head as we descended in the elevator.
"You'll find out, just think happy thoughts and it'll almost be like you can see." I giggled as I hugged him.
"Do you know what? The best memory I can think of now, is when we were in this exact lift. You were drunk and you kissed me. That was our first kiss you know." He smiled. I released him from my hug and faced him.
"Yeah, I know." I smiled recalling it, sort of. I don't really remember that night, but I do remember kissing him.
"I don't have to see you to picture your smile right now." Bennet said opening his arms. "I would wrap you in a hug right now but I can't exactly see where I am." He laughed. I just giggled in return. I wen towards him and kissed him on the cheek. His arms tightly wrapped around me.
"Bennet, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to let go." I whispered.
"But why..." He whined like a child. I giggled and went behind him. I gently pushed him forward.
"Because we have to go." I smiled. He slowly took small steps. Eventually he got out of the elevator and took even smaller steps.
"You know, after growing up around this building, you would think you can walk around it blind, but honestly, I haven't got a clue where I am." He laughed. I smiled grabbing his hand. I gently pulled him towards the door. I stood right outside and stopped him.
"Wait here..." I went to go in the room, "oh, and don't lift up your blindfold." I said before rushing in the room. I quickly got everyone's attention and they all got into position, finally everything was perfect. Everything was exactly how it was supposed to go.
"I'll go get him." I whispered before opening the door. Bennet stood exactly how I left him, drumming his fingers against his suit.
"Okay, blindfold off." I whispered. He took it off and looked at me.
"Why was the blindfold necessary?" He asked.
"In case you saw something you weren't meant to." I smiled. He shook his head looking down.
"What?" I giggled.
"I just love you." He smiled. I grabbed his hand and opened the door. I switched on the lights and everyone stood under the banner and all yelled surprise.
"I know it's cliche, but I don't care, you deserve it." I smiled. He laughed as he wrapped me in a hug and kissed me.
"It's perfect." He looked around admiring everything.
"You did this all yourself?" He asked.
"She had help." Jake said shaking Bennet's hand. One by one everyone greeted him, wished him a happy birthday, he had his arm wrapped around my waist the whole time. When everyone had finally said happy birthday to him I decided to show him everything. I showed him almost everything and finally showed him the cake. It was double layered, white milk and dark chocolate, malteasers placed around the edge. On the top, in Amber's brothers calligraphy it read 'happy birthday Bennet x' I smiled at what we had all accomplished this week.
"Do you know what Ell?" My stomach turned. I for some reason got the instant feeling I had done everything wrong and right there that second he was going to drop me like a poisonous Python.
"This is the best birthday I've ever had, and you've made me so happy, I can't describe it. When I'm with you, I forget everything bad, I forget about my depression, I forget about my parents and my sisters car accident. I forget about my uncle being killed. But what's even better, is that I never forget how much I love you." I smiled as he wrapped me in a tight hug. He has no idea how much I love him.
About 2 am everyone had left and the cleaning staff began to clean the place up. Me and Bennet had taken all the left over food to our personal fridge and planned on a movie day on Sunday. That's only because there was a game on Friday and we planned on going to the after party. We had gone up to our room. I was stood on our balcony over looking the strange contrast of where we lived. Half beach and country side, the other city. I couldn't see our school from our balcony, but I knew where it was. Where my house was, I knew how to get from basically anywhere to here. I leaned against the bannister. Instantly a muscular pair of arms wrapped around my waist.
"Don't fall." He whispered into my ear.
"I'm afraid it's too late for that." I whispered placing my hands on top of his.
"And why is that?" He asked turning me around, a slight bit of concern painted on his face.
"Because I fell for you a little while ago." I smiled. He still had his suit on. I put my hand on top of his tie and played with it in my hands. Gradually I untied it and left it hanging around his neck.
"That doesn't have to be the only thing that comes off you know." He whispered huskily looking down at me.
"Allow me." I smiled undoing each of the buttons on his shirt slowly. I traced my finger along his abs. Abruptly, he pulled me in towards him, his hands cupping my bum. He looked down into my eyes and smirked at me. I pulled his shirt off of him and returned with a smirk of my own.
"I don't know why you're smirking, you're the one with no shirt on." I spoke, lust lacing in my voice. He brought his hands up to the top of my dress and unzipped it. The dress dropped to the floor. I looked down at it, the smirk still plastered to my face.
"I don't know why you're smirking, you're the one with nothing but underwear on," he said looking my up and down. "Nice underwear I might add." I pulled him into a kiss. Slowly, our lips moved in sync, my hands running through his hair. He picked me up and walked inside with my legs clasped around his waist. He walked me over to the bed where he laid me down. He unclipped my bra and pulled down my matching knickers. I reached down and pulled his boxers down. I reached up and kissed him again. I inhaled sharply when I felt his excitement against me. He slipped inside me and I let out a small moan. He smiled against my lips. I moved my hips slightly and he made a small groaning sound. My turn to smile. I smiled against his lips, I guess it could be said that was one of his favourite birthday presents.
