Chapter 1

Author's Note: And the story beings.......

December's P.O.V

"So just before you went to the hospital there was this............. I felt an ache in my hip. So I had a pet scan and it let up like a Christmas Tree. Lightning my chest, my liver just......... everywhere."

"NONONONONONO!"

"TURN IT OFF, TURN IT OFF!"

 I quickly tried to find the remote to turn off the T.V. that was causing all of us waterworks. I need to take a moment to compose myself, so my eyes can stop watering and making me have my eyesight again. Finally finding the remote which was stuck between the pillows of my bed, I pulled it out letting out a breath of relief.

"STOP IT! YOU MOTHER FUCKER!" Alex yells covering her ears.

Since Alex was being her aggressive self, I got the remote and started to press random buttons. Somehow and hopefully I will press the pause button. I couldn't exactly see at the moment because my eyes were recreating the niagara falls. 

"Okay! Okay but I can't! I can't see!" I yell back.

"Let me see it you idiot,"  Alex says as she aggressively takes the remote and presses pause for me and looks at me with a pissed off face.

Talking offense to her comment, "I'm not an idiot, you're an idiot." 

I'll admit that was a very stupid comeback but I'm not exactly in a stage to say jokes. Let's just say the Fault In Our Starts does that to you. Gets you right in the feels.

Alex rolls her eyes, "Okay your not an Idiot, you just speak idiot."

I smirk coming up with a good back, "I'll agree to that, Yes I talk like an idiot. If I wasn't would you be able to understand me?"

Alex glares at me, "I don't know how were still friends, I can barely stand you."

"Well, you don't have to. There's a chair right over there"

"You little -" Alex tackles me a little too hard which makes us fall to the ground with a "humph."

We both burst out into laughter and even more at our sprawl bodies on the floor looking like we had broken all of our limbs. Once our laughter died down, and only chuckles escaping our lips we would suddenly pick up into laughter again when we saw another.

Instantly my laughter stoped, "Rose?"

I look up from the floor to the top of the bed to see Rose laying down clutching a pillow with all her might, crying.

"Hey Rose are you alright?" I ask her gently.

Rose quickly shakes her head, "No. Why him. Why him?"

"Him who?" Alex whispers looking confused.

"My boyfriend," I say sarcastically.

Alex turns toward me so fast she gets whiplash, "Since when do you have a boyfriend. Wait how in the name in the hell did you even get one is the question I should be asking."

Well, that hurt......

"Back to Rose, I'm guessing she's talking about the guy from the movie, Augustus Waters. You idiot and you said I was the idiot." I mutter the last part.

I turn back toward Rose and trying to get her to understand, "Well you see Rose, some infinities are bigger than other infinities and let's just say that Augustus has a small infinity."

I shouldn't have said that because that just made her cry more.

Way more

Oh no!

"Look what you've done you, idiot," Alex snaps at me as she awkwardly pats Rose's back trying to calm her down.

She's really taking this to heart.

I look at poor little Alex who looks like she would rather be with somewhere else right now because let's just say that Alex doesn't know how to comfort people she more of a causes people pain kind of person.

After Alex and I try everything to calm Rose down, I finally say something that speaks to her, by quoting the movie. Though this time I'll try to say something less sad and look on the bright side, which I never do. I look at Rose's teary face, damn this movie really messed with her.

I hold Rose's face trying to get her attention, "Rose, You need to stop crying. You gotta know that it was a privilege having your heart broken by him." 

And surprisingly she stopped.

Rose wipes her tears, "Your right yes, yes it was a privilege and thank you, Gus" 

Alex quickly changes the topic before Rose can think about The Fault In Our Stars again and starts to cry and hold onto a pillow thinking that its Augustus, and how it somehow will bring him back.

"So...... I'm hungry" 

Wow, Alex!

I roll my eyes, "That is what you've come up with. Also, just cause your in my house doesn't mean I have to share my food. This sounds more of a personal problem."

Alex glares at me, "You little son -"

"First of all, I can't be a son since I'm a girl so that makes me a daughter so get your facts straight. Last time I checked I had boobs, " I smirk at her pissed off face.

Just as Alex was about to lunge at me again Rose starts going batshit crazy by getting fists full of air and starts throwing it at us.

"Umm.. Rose what in the actual hell are you doing," I ask looking at her confused.

"Yeah, you look possessed," Alex mumbles backing away from her slowly.

"I'm throwing fake fertilizer at you because you guys need to grow up!"

Silence.

 Is what is left after Rose says her what she calls a joke. Okay, I'll admit that was pretty funny but it just when over on the weirder side.

Rose coughs awkwardly, "So umm how about we order some pizza?"

Alex instantly forgets about the joke, "Okay. I'm down."

"Who's paying," I ask and both of their eyes dart towards me.

All three of us look at each other and we all scream!

"Not it!"

"Not it!"

"Not- Dammit it!"

Alex and I burst out laughing at poor Rose, she has always been the slow one in our trio.

This chapter is more of a like....... get to know a sense of who the characters are.
