Chapter 34: Kissing spree

Safia's POV

Leo and I were walking through the streets of the city where I've never walked before. It was nice just walking around, expressing how I felt with all the Brody and Amina stuff that was going on.

"But nothing happened between you two, right?" Leo asked. Of course not, who does he thinks I am.

"Of course not Leo, why would you even ask me that?" I responded annoyed. He knows me, I wouldn't just kiss anyone.. even though Brody isn't just anyone.

"Good." Leo answered. He sounded relieved, like he was happy nothing happened between us.

"Wait, Fia..." Leo said out of nowhere.

"What? What's wrong Leo?" I asked curiously.

"I lied about coming over here, I actually had class today but I skipped... for you.."

Wait, what was he saying? He skipped class for me? why? Why now?

"Euhm okay? But why now, why not like a few months ago?" I asked.

"I.." he sighed, like it was really tough what he was about to say. "I've missed you"

"Oh, I've missed you too." I responded punching his upper arm.

I continued my walk but Leo wasn't following me.

"Are you coming or what?" I asked.

He ran towards me and walked besides me.

Leo stopped and made me stop after a few minutes of silently walking next to each other.

"Okay no, I'm just gonna go for it."

He leaned in closer and I knew what he was about to do, call me a girl with experience. Not in a wrong way, but in a way that lately every guy wants to kiss me.

"What are you doing?" I asked slowely while watching him leaning in.

"Something I wanted to do since forever." He whispered.

"Okay NO!" I said which made him jump.

"I'm sick of guys trying to do haram things which I try to stay away from."

"What?" Leo asked surprised.

"I thought we were friends? Why are you ruining that by trying to kiss me?" I asked annoyed.

What was wrong with the guys in this city? I'm not that special, I don't even understand what these guys see in me.

"Oh, you like me too Safia, don't even try to deny it.. I've seen how jealous you were when I was around other girls." He said taking my hand in his and pulling me to him.

Surprise, prize to the dumbest person on this planet went to Nathan, but hey, Leo comes closely second.

"Ha! You are.. you.. uuugh you are all the same."

"I'm going to say this one time only, I don't have any feelings for you.. go back from where you came from!" With that being said, I left and didn't turn around.

I don't understand, why is this always happening to me? First Brody, then Nathan and now Leo. I really thought he was a good friend, but all this time he secretly liked me. There's nothing wrong with liking anyone, it's what you do with that feeling that makes it right or wrong. And Leo knew everything about me, about my religion and about me not being interested in guys. And that's why it made me this angry.

Why can't I just turn my feelings off like in The Vampire Diaries, GOD that would help a lot!

I was heading home, for the first time, alone.. Actually second time.
