Chapter 10: Dance (Nicolette POV)

I woke this morning in my new bed. Drew was still sleeping. I smiled and kissed his nose, before climbing out of bed. His house was huge and I still was not used to it. Once downstairs, I took my phone off of the charger. I had 2 new messages

Justin: (Via text) Thanks for today

Felicity: Hey, call me

I hit the talk button and heard the phone ringing. A couple seconds later she answered.

Felicity: Hey I have dance today, you want to come?

Nicolette: What type of dance?

Felicity: Jazz

Nicolette: I don’t know

Felicity: Please I’ll try that lyrical class afterwards with you

Nicolette: Fine

Felicity: Okay I’ll pick you up in 10 minutes

Nicolette: Fine

Felicity: Bye

After hanging up, I ran upstairs to get ready.

Nicolette: Drew I’m going out with Lissa tonight, be good

Drew: Yea fine

I walked over and kissed my half asleep boyfriend. Then I heard the doorbell. I ran to answer the door, and I saw Felicity standing there in black short shorts, her 2011 cheer shirt, a black tank top, and her hair in a sloppy bun.

Felicity: So are you ready?

Nicolette: Yea

Felicity: Alright lets go

We got into her Blue Jeep Wrangler and Acting Out from Ashley Tisdale blasted

Nicolette: OMG I love this song

Felicity: I know me too. This was my cheer song last year, and it brought us to first place in Regionals

Nicolette: That’s cool when’s your next competition?

Felicity: I don’t know? Probably in 2 months

Nicolette: Where do you usually have them?

Felicity: Anywhere really

Nicolette: Oh!

We pulled up to the dance studio, and we both got out of the car. I watched Felicity take her dance bag out of the backseat.

Felicity: So are you ready to try jazz?

Nicolette: Yeah! I hope I’m good at it

Felicity: You will! I know you will

She put her arm around my shoulder and I smiled as we walked into the studio waiting room. We walked in the studio and Felicity was getting called.

Chelsea: (Her friend) Lis

Felicity: Hey guys! Umm this is Nicolette, Nicolette this is Chelsea, Ashley, and Alison.

Nicolette: Hey

Felicity: She just moved here from Staten Island

All the girls got completely silent

Chelsea: (Under her breath) Benny

Nicolette: Excuse me? Would you like to say that a little louder?

Chelsea: What are you talking about?

Nicolette: Honey don’t mess with me

Felicity: Okay lets go

She grabbed my arm and pulled me into the room.

Felicity: Ignore Chelsea

Nicolette: She’s a bitch

Felicity: No she’s not; you just have to get to know her

Nicolette: I just hate people like that

Felicity: Relax everything will be fine

{2 Hours Later}

Teacher: Alright girls good job see you next week.

Felicity: I’m starving

Nicolette: Me too. Let’s go get something to eat

Felicity: I want Mickey D’s (Grabs her phone out of her bag)

Nicolette: Who you calling?

Felicity: Justin

{PHONE CONVO}

Justin: Hey gorgeous!

Felicity: Hey Nikki and I are gonna go to Mickey D’s you guys want anything?

Justin: I want a Quarter Pounder with no pickles and a sweet tea

Felicity: And what does Drew want?

Justin: He wants the same thing, but with pickles and a coke

Felicity: Alright we’ll see you guys when we get home

Justin: Alright! Love you

Felicity: (Hangs up)
