Chapter 13: Falling Skies (Felicity POV)

After showing them around, we came back to their place to watch Drews new show, Falling Skies.

Drew and Nikki disappeared into the kitchen to supposibly to make popcorn, but I don’t think their coming back. I only say that because it’s over and they went to make popcorn in the beginning. Since, they obviously weren’t coming back, Justin and decided to make-out.

A couple minutes later,  I decided to go get a drink. I covered my eyes as I walked in afraid of what I might see. But the only thing I saw was Nony sitting at the table and Drew leaning on the counter.

Drew: What do you want me to do?

Nicolette: Get my parents down here too.

Drew: I can’t do that

Felicity: Excuse me, I’m just getting water

Nicolette looked up at me and saw the tears filling up her eyes

Nicolette: Excuse me

She ran out crying . I followed her to her room

Felicity: Are you ok?

Nicolette: No

Felicity: Homesick?

Nicolette: No I just want my family to come down here. And who does he rush up here. His family

Felicity: Why don’t you come stay with me and Justin can stay here.

She jumped up and grabbed her bag.

Felicity: I’ll take that as a yes

Nicolette: Well duh? I need to get out of this house

Once she was done, we went downstairs

Felicity: Justin, can I talk to you?

Drew and Justin were still watching the show

Justin: Now?!?!

Felicity: Yes now

Justin: Fine

Justin got up from the couch and he followed me into the kitchen.

Felicity: Justin I need you to stay here tonight

Justin: Ok and why?

Felicity: Because she’s mad at Drew

Justin: Why?

Felicity: Because she wants her parents to be here, but Drew doesn’t want them up here because his parents are coming here

Justin: Alright

Felicity: Thanks for understanding

I kissed his lips and walked out of the kitchen, and back into the living room.

Felicity: So you ready to go Nikki?

Nicolette: Yeah

Felicity: Alright come on

We left the house in pure silence. I tried to start up a conversation with her, but I didn’t know what to say to her without making her more upset. But I couldn’t think of anything. We pulled up into my driveway. As we climbed out of my car, my neighbor was standing outside.

Felicity: Hey Austin

Austin: Hey Felicity (Walks over to them) Where’s Justin?

Felicity: At our friend’s house. This is Nicolette

Austin: Hi I’m Austin Ma-

Nicolette: I know who you are (Shakes his hand)

There was an awkward moment as we stood there

Felicity: Alright well we have a sleep over to do.

Austin: Really? Why won’t you guys come over?

Felicity: Sure, let’s just bring her stuff inside.
