(Y/N) (L/N), just your average everyday no-maj living in New York, surrounded by those that, on the outside, appeared to be normal people. Though you wouldn't be able to tell a witch or wizard apart from a no-maj if you weren't a witch or wizard yourself.
Anyways, (Y/N) was on her way to her job, which was simply as a secretary at some small company, nothing special. She followed the same routine each day. Get up at 6 am. Shower. Eat. Leave for work at 7:30 am. Arrive there at 8 am. Her schedule was very precise, but today, it was going to be a little different. As she was walking to work, someone, who appeared to be in a slight rush, bumped into (Y/N), and she unfortunately dropped her work things all over the wet ground. So she began to pick the soaked papers off the ground, not bothering to look for whoever mocked into her. Unfortunately, a taxi drove by and splashed muddy water all over her and her things. The now cold, wet, and irritated (Y/N) decided to abandoned the papers and find the nearest place she could dry off, which was a run-down news-stand. With a sigh of defeat, (Y/N) seated herself on the ground and rested her head in he palms. Today was not her day. Not one bit. The distraught figure of the girl caught the attention of a certain wizard who, to the no-maj eye, appears to just be a normal citizen.
He walked over to the news stand, picked up a copy of the day's paper, and began to read it, as if that was the only reason he went over there. Upon hearing someone approach, (Y/N) lifted her head up to see who it was. She did not know who exactly the male was, but she's seen him around before. He glanced over at her, then spoke.
"Bad morning?" Was all he said.
"Pretty obvious, huh?" She let out a hysterical laugh. "You ever have those days where nothing goes right? Well, I think this is going to be one of those days.. "
"That's unfortunate...." There was a moment of silence that seemed to last a while, then the man spoke again. "Do you want to go and get some coffee?" (Y/N) almost laughed.
"I don't even know who you are, and you don't know who I am. Sorry, but that sounds a bit sketchy, I think I'll pass."
"You're right, that does seem a bit sketchy... Allow me to introduce myself. My name's Percival. Percival Graves." He held out a hand to help her up, which she took. As he pulled her to her feet, she introduced herself.
"I'm (Y/N) (L/N).."

About 2 months after this encounter, (Y/N) was getting ready. For what? Well, Percival had invited her to go out to dinner with him and some people he works with if she didn't have anything else to do, so she gladly accepted.
As she got to the designated restaurant, she was greeted by Percival. It soon became apparent, however, that this wasn't going to be a dinner with Percival and his coworkers, but that it was merely a way to get her to go to dinner with him.
"(Y/N), do you remember the day we met?" The question kind of took the female by surprise, but she answered.
"It's kind of hard to forget a day like that... "
"Well.. The reason I stopped and talked to you is because, even if you were covered in muddy water, you were still the most magnificent looking person I've ever seen..... I just felt like I had to do something to help you... What I'm trying to say is, would you like to go out on a date with me?" (Y/N) hesitated a moment to comprehend what he had just said.
"... I'd love to, Percival." She gave him a warm smile, and together they entered the restaurant.
Long story short, they had a great time, which led to a second date. Not long after, he told her about him being a wizard. At first, she thought he was crazy, but when he showed her a few spells, she believed him. They ended up moving to Europe so they could be together. He eventually proposed, and she said yes.
