Reborn.

Prologue II

The night was loud. Thunder striked onto a small island known as... Whale Island. In one particular house was two woman. One was an elder another was 13.

"Mito dear will you make some tea." the elderly lady says to a young girl with reddish, orangeish hair. The young girl nods and runs to the kitchen. Filling the kettle up with water and setting it onto the stove.

Theres a knock on the door. "I'll get it!" Mito calls. She then runs again towards the door. "Who could be here at this hour, and in this weather?" she mumbles while smoothing out her apron. Mito grabs the door handle and opens the door. "G-ging?"

"No, Ava place that down." Ging lightly scolds the young girl. She has black hair and brown eyes. "Okey dada" Ava says placing down the tea cup.

Mito watches the girl and Ging. She then looks at the boy Ging is holding. He looks like Ava. "What are their names?" she asks with a light voice.

Ging points toward the girl. "This is Ava. While this one"-he points at the boy-"is Gon. They're both two." Gon flails his arms around "Dada! I wanna pway with Ava!!" Ging places the boy down next to his sister.

"Are they twins?" Mito asks. Ging nods. "Where's their mother?" Ging shrugs. "Are you staying?" Ging shakes his head no.

"I was hoping... They could stay here. It's not safe for them to come with me." Sorrow fills Gings face. "Before you say anything it's not because I want to leave them to be a hunter, it's because of who they are."

Mito raises an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"

Ging takes a breath. "They're both children of a hunter. All the enemies I have made, will come after them should they find out they exist. And... Ava is special."

At that Mito looks perplexed. She looks at the girl and tilts her head. "How is she special? She looks normal to me."

Ging sighs. "Ava come here sweetie." Ava says okay and walks over, her brother following after her. "Can you do your eye trick for Aunt Mito?" Ging says.

Ava gains a large smile. "Really?? I cwan??" she jumps up and down. Ging nods. "Oh OH I wanna swee!!" Gon runs over to her. Ava somehow smiles larger. She takes her hands up to her eyes and takes out...contacts. Her eyes seem normal at first, then as she seems to get happier, they turn a scarlet.

"Ava some how gained Kurta blood. Making her a... Rare human in a way. That's not all though."-Mito's eyes widen-"She's not from this world. I guess you can say... She was reincarnated. She has lived before which gives her more potential than usual. However if she learns of this, the results could be...disastrous." Ging finishes with a gasp from Mito.

"H-how?" Mito asks.

"Well their mom wasn't exactly loyal."-a glare from Mito-" okay, okay, to be completely honest...I don't know. But I'm going to figure it out. To do that though, I need them to be 100% safe. So... Will you please watch over them?" Ging looks Mito in the eyes.

She can't say no. She should, but she can't. "Yeah."

Ging held his children for the last time for what he knows will be a long time. "Dad has to leave." he gets questioning looks "You'll stay with Aunt Mito."

"When will dada be back?" Gon asks and Ava nods.

"If you want to see me again, come find me." with that Ging places the two children down, and leaves.

They didn't cry. It was almost like, they were used to it.

Age 6

"Avaaaaa can we go now?" Gon tugs on his sisters sleeve. Which causes her to drop a contact provoking her to glare at her twin.

"I was almost ready but now I dropped it!" Ava goes onto her knees and looks for her contact. Finding it a second later she places it into her eye. "Now hair." a annoyed sound from Gon. Ava takes her brush and runs it through her long black hair. Collecting her hair into one big lock, she ties it into a high ponytail. It reaches all the way to her mid back area. "Done!"
