"The waters out........ Everywhere." Diesel's words kept ringing in my head as I ran to tell Natalie, Barrett and Violet. "Natalie!" I screamed. She and Violet were in the cafeteria cleaning when I came in. "Nice haircut." Violet said looking at my hair. "Skylar?! Why did you cut it?!? How did you cut it?!" Natalie asked, she stopped doing what she was doing and ran over to me running her fingers through my now short hair.

"Guys we got a bigger problem!" I groaned once Natalie pulled her hand away. "The water went out all over the school." I explained. "Hold on, I might have something that can help us with that." Violet said leading me to the principal's office. She walked over to a desk and shoved everything off of it. "Always wanted to do that." Grover said walking in with Diesel right behind him. He picked the lamp back up and placed it on the desk where Violet was laying out some sort of map. "Where did you get that?" I asked her as I got a glimpse of the map. She smiled at me and Grover before answering. "I found these in the basement, in the boiler room. Maybe there's something about the plumbing we can fix." Violet told us as she scanned the map. I ran my fingers through my short hair as I studied the map, it showed all the main pipes in the school. Pretty impressive for Violet to find something like this.

"I already checked for clogs and leaks everywhere." Diesel said, I looked at him for a minute with confusion plastered on my face. "When did you do that?!" I asked him, he looked at me like I had a third head. "While you went to tell the others me and Grover here checked the pipes." Diesel explained pointing to Grover who was walking around and looking at random stuff. "Well, maybe there's something else going on." Violet muttered to herself, we looked at the map some more wondering what else we could do to turn the water back on. "Can you read this?" Violet asked us, I shook my head no. "I don't understand any of it. I'm really sorry."

"It's okay." Violet told me. She looked at Diesel who began to walk over to her. "It's easier than an engine schematic." He told her as they both looked over the map. "What are you looking at." I joked poking Grover's arm while he looked at some news clippings hanging from the wall. "Just reading through these." Grover told me not taking his eye off the paper. We read through some articles while Diesel and Violet went over about what could have caused the water to stop flowing. Grover stopped in his tracks and read an article that was close to me. "Hey, we have another option!" Grover called to us. I leaned over and read the article. 'Fallout shelter stocked for safety.' The article read. "Grover, that's a smart idea!" I said punching his shoulder lightly. "What's a smart idea?" Violet asked looking up from where she was sitting.

"When they were building the fallout shelter, they stocked it with gas masks." Grover explained to the others. "If we can go into the shelter and grab the masks, we can go outside and find help!" I added sounding very excited about our find. Diesel and Violet looked at each other for a minute before nodding. "Alright, let's go tell the others." Diesel said as we all headed to the lobby where everyone was sitting. Once we all were inside, we explained our find to the others and waited for their feedback. "And that's good why?" Zoe said not fully convinced about the masks. "Because it means we can get the masks and the tanks and get out of here, if there still there." Barrett told Zoe as I plopped down on the couch next to him. "Never thought about that." I told the others. "The shelter was built such a long time ago; they could have been taken out of the shelter."

"50 years later, that's a big if." Natalie added onto the doubt. If the shelter was built 50 years ago, then the masks have a low chance of still being in the shelter. "How are we going to get the masks if the shelters filled with freaks?" LeShawn asked Grover. That's also another if. The shelter is stock full of freaks. "We just have to figure out a way to get past them." I said as I messed with my shorts. "We know there afraid of fire." Barrett explained to us. "We can rig the flamethrowers and scare the freaks back." Barrett suggested. I looked at him with a 'really?' look plastered onto my face. "Flamethrowers." I repeated shaking my head. "That could work!" Zoe told me and the other. The others had a different plan in mind.
