THIS IS THE CONTINUATION OF THE INTERVIEW. WATTPAD WON'T PUBLISH IT WITH THE PREVIOUS CHAPTER.
ELLE: What have you been missing?
Margaux: Who. It's who I have been missing. My parents, mybrothers, my best friends, my dogs. they are the ones I have been missing. But since I chose this life, I have to be strong and support my husband. It's a crazy ride but I will be here to hold his hands as long as it takes, as long as he needs me.
ELLE: They say that this is only a marriage for convenience, what can you say?
Margaux: They can say whatever they want to say, I am not here to explain myself as long as I know I did the right thing and I know that I am in good hands, whatver they say do not matter to me.It's what Mike thinks and feels that matter to me.
ELLE: What have you discovered about him?
Margaux: That he's human.
ELLE: What do you mean?
Margaux: A lot of people say that Mike does not know how to have fun, they say that he's cold and strict and workaholic. Well he is workaholic. He works 19 hours a day. I barely see him.But I discovered that he also gets tired, he gets hurt, he gets mad, he gets sad. When he's tired, he wants me to rub his back or his arm, when he's hurt, he stays in the shower for a long time. When he gets mad, he yells, he shouts, he throw things. When he's happy, he wants to dance. when he's sad he would reach out to me in his sleep. And when he's nervous, he grabs my hand and squeeze it sooo tight, like a stress ball. Mike is a good man. He is not corrupt. He might be younger than the seasoned politicians we have in this country but he has a good heart. He knows what his countrymen need. And Mike is the most intelligent person I have ever met in my life.
ELLE: What do you regret now?
Margaux: I regret not having a loooong time with him before we transferred to Malakanyang. I regret not being there for him when he needed me the most because I have duties as a First Lady and I am still in school. But apart from those, I have no regrets at all.
