Lana's POV:
Finally it's lunchtime and I'm glad to find Oliver waiting for me as I leave history class.
"Hey!"
"Hey! How's been your day so far?" I smile at him and lead our way to the lunchroom.
"Quite interesting I guess. Still getting used to it though." He responds half smiling.
"Interesting? Why's that for?"
"Well, the interesting part happened at calculus class" he chuckles. "First, I got to finally see you again and then that guy appeared and made a show about the chair I sat. Do you know him though?"
"Oh, yeah, I kinda do. Well, his name is Brendon and he is the lead singer of a band that is getting very famous lately, so everyone here knows who he is of course. He's like the big deal and the man candy according to most girls in here." I roll my eyes.
"Oooooh! Now I get why he got so mad when I called him 'Smoothie Boy', wow that must have killed him, damn" Oliver and I laugh at the image of Brendon's priceless reaction.
"If his fans think he's humble, they got it all wrong. Seriously, I have never seen anyone so smug about his 'success' the band is just getting started and all of them already think they're better than anyone else." I couldn't help but to say. It's the truth. Finally someone new came and it's great that he doesn't see Brendon as a person you have to bow down if he passes by you or something like that.
"Well I'll just treat him like I will treat anyone else. Honestly if I don't get any respect from him, he won't get of mine either." Wow, finally someone that seems to understand me! There should be more people like Oliver in this world. "I bet they are all daddy's little boys, but let's just ignore them, okay?" And I couldn't agree with Oliver more.
Finally we get into the lunchroom. I see Bell and Steve seating on a table with two more chairs. She looks up at me and pats the chair, signaling for us to come over. I nod at her as I wait for my turn to get served.
I notice every girl in here is starring at Oliver, just like at the mall. As the lunch ladies finish serving us food, we head over the table with Bell and Steve.
"So you're Oliver huh?" Says Steve as he chews his gum. One thing I noticed about him it's just that. He's always chewing gum.
"Hey Oliver! This is Steve, my boyfriend." Says Bell smilingly before Oliver even gets to open his mouth.
Steve and Oliver seem to be trying their best to get along, but since they're totally different and have nothing in common to talk about, there is a hint of awkwardness between the two of them.
"I'll be here in a sec!" I say as I stand up. I forgot to grab something to drink, you go Lana, very smart of you. As I take a bottle of water, I turn around to my surprise see a certain blonde bumping her dessert plate all over my clothes. Seriously? The white frosting along with the cake covering my whole chest and part of my neck, it definitely had some ice cream on it because I feel something pretty freaking cold. She doesn't say anything. In fact, even doesn't apologize. All she's doing is hiding her fake giggles and I'm just standing frozen without knowing what to do or say.
I can feel the eyes of every person in this cafeteria on me, probably waiting for something to happen.
Anna mouths "oops" and turns around, giving her back to me. I don't think so. I step forward and regret it immediately as my butt hits the hard linoleum floor and a banana peel in my shoe. If that wasn't bad enough, every single person that was staring bursted out in laughter and Anna kept walking towards the table where Ryan, Jon, Spencer and Brendon always sit.
