"And you can trust me when I say that I will kill her. I will kill her so you can't be with her. I'm not going to kill you, but I will kill her so it will kill you on the inside."

"Miguel, what in the hell is wrong with you? Your going to kill the girl you love just because I love her to?"

"Not just because of that reason. But also because I know she loves you. There's no point in keeping her as a mother if she's just going to spend weekends with you in the future. I can't have her looking at you the way I look at her."

Miguel's eyes had an almost yellow tint to them and I couldn't help but think he's been crazy this whole time. Love drove him crazy.

"You will never see her again. Start a new life Damon. For her, start a new life."

And with that, he puts a piece of duct tape over my mouth and leaves.

That was almost an hour ago before Miguel left me in front of the safe house we all stayed in when hiding from the cops not that long ago. I had managed to get the ropes off of my wrists and ankles by now and I had taken off the duct tape but I don't know what to do. I'm sitting in front of the safe house right now drinking a bottle of alcohol while Miguel goes off to kill Brooke... the woman we both love.

I don't understand why he would do such a thing as to kill his girlfriend and leave his child motherless.
After Levi-his child- was born, he wouldn't let either me or Jade hold him. He said he didn't want Levi to think of me and jade as parents. I don't understand how that would even work... But after I argued with him about trying to see Levi, he knocked me on the head with something hard, and I don't remember what happened after that. But I woke up in front of the safe house with my arms and legs tied and Miguel was standing in front of me.

It's getting pretty boring and I don't know what to do... I guess I'll just walk around the streets until I find something to do.

Standing in front of my parents' house, I'm debating with myself if I should go in and reunite with my family. They're home, so I walk up to the door and hesitate before knocking hardly on the brown wooden door. I could hear some ruffling before the doorknob turns, and standing there is my mother dressed in a gray shirt and black jeans. Her dark auburn hair was graying at the top and she looked tired, almost exhausted. Her eyes widened and she choked on her words before actually getting them out.

"Damon? Sweetie, is that really you?"
She puts a hand to the side of my face so gently as if she was afraid I'd break. I admit, I looked a bit different. I was stronger, my face was more sharp. My hair was shorter than usual so it wouldn't surprise me if she had to touch me to remember me.

"Celeste, whose at the door?"
And suddenly my father walks in behind my mother and sees her embrace me into a hug, my arms wrapped around her to.
She releases me, tears spreading down her cheeks.

"Honey, honey it's our baby! He's back!"

"Well I'll be damned..."
My father crosses his arms and starts to lead my inside and closes the door behind him. The living room still looked the same as if I've never left. It was only about 5 months that I was gone anyway.

He told me to sit on the dark tan couch, which I obeyed. My mother and father were sitting across from me In a different couch, and they were both just taking all of me in.
