Whispers

Chapter 4:

Sally talks in her sleep. She kept whispering that it was to dark. So I turned the lights on. But she started screaming my name.

"Daisy, daisy" she kept screaming. Sometimes I wonder what's really going on in her head.

Mother said she only gave birth to Sally for her powers. Mother claims that Sally can see the future, that's why she talks in her sleep.

Mother woke up in the black. She just sat in a chair saying "gather children" over and over again.

We all sat down she began telling us of the tother, it's a creature in whisperless that feeds on the loud speakers. How did mother ever get this way?

Today it is raining, so delicately, slowly. Mother said we must preserve the rain. We bring out pots and buckets and gather the rain.

Mothers eyes are purple! We are now dancing in the rain and singing. Mother used to sing all the time she has such a wonderful voice.

Where is Blake? Where has he gone off to??

I start to panic I look inside the house and around the outside. No where to be seen. I ask Sally and she said mama put him in a special place.

I remember I no longer can trust mother. She is no longer here with us. We don't have a phone so there is no way to call father, I start to cry. Where is my baby brother. I scream at my mom over and over she just sings louder.

My father won't be home for another hour and I can't find Blake. I sent Sally and my baby sister away to shower and change.

I feel like I'm going crazy. I can't find Blake anywhere.

Mother calls me over she says "princess moyoco" that is my name in whisperless..

She asks me to bring in the pots and buckets. I have to make sure the water stays in. I bring them in one at a time. At last I'm at the last bucket.

At last I have found my baby brother..
