Whispers

Chapter 7

I'm awake and hoping mother and I stay like this forever.

Mother wakes and smiles at me, kisses the top of my head, and gets up.

I'm so confused, how all of a sudden she is normal again?

She goes into the kitchen and starts getting out stuff to make oatmeal. She hums and starts singing a slow song that makes me remember old times.

She turns around and asks me what all I would like.

the girls awaken

We are all sitting at the table like the family we used to be. Mother is still humming a song. She gets up and takes my baby sister with her. She seems to only be up there for 10 minutes before coming back down the stairs.

Could the baby have fallen asleep that fast?

Mother comes back with a huge smile on her face.

She starts mumbling something to herself and takes us outside.

She said since we were leaving Whisperless she wants us to see it one last time.

We finally get to leave! I am so happy that I couldn't help but smile.

We go to all the places were bad memories are held. Mother starts crying and I wonder why?

She takes mine and Sally's hand and leads us into the house.

I go into our room drawing a picture with the crayons father bought me before he left.

Mother came into my room smiling and called me to come upstairs with her. The house seemed so silent, so silent even the birds seemed to not sing their day song. in confusion I walk upstairs with mother. We walk into her bedroom and there is Sally and my Bailey, lying motionless on her bed.

"No", I had whispered to myself

My mother smiles and says don't worry you no longer have to whisper you too are leaving whisperless.

I tryed to run, it was useless.

Mother had a right grip on me and dragged me to the bathroom. Now I see how my sisters had left.

The bathroom floor was soaked and the tub was full. I started scratching and screaming and biting my mother. I yelled so hard it hurt. Mother stuck my head under the water. I tried to get back up but she threw my body into the tub.

I was running out of air fast and decided to lay there. There was no point in struggling I wasn't going to get away. Just then I hear my mother yell and pull her her hand away. I come out of the tub and there a man stands holding my mother. I had no clue who he was and stood there mostionless..

"RUN, RUN LITTLE GIRL" I could hear him struggling but didn't budge.

"RUN RUN AWAY, RUN FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE RUN AND DONT LOOK BACK!"

A tear streamed down my face and I ran.
