Liam intertwined our fingers and pushed open the door to the breakfast area.  He held it open as I walked in and scanned the room for our friends.  I was determined to win this bet at all costs.  There was no way that I’d be the one explaining that suite to the concierge.

“There they are,” Liam said pointing to the gang way in the corner of the room trying to stay out of sight.  We started walking towards them.

I noticed Li was walking a little faster so I picked up the pace until I was in front of him and weaving between tables.  I saw him look at me out the corner of his eye and knew we were both trying to beat the other there.

I winked at him and sprinted for the table.  I heard his feet pound on the floor behind me and knew he was close.  We arrived at the same time and smiled panting at each other before looking at our friends.  I saw they looked a little worse for wear.

“Long night?” I asked giving them a funny look as I took in their disheveled appearances.

Kim, Harry, Amber, Niall and Louis were all wearing the same fancy clothes from the night before.

Apparently Zayn was still in his room.

Kim mumbled something that I suspected wasn’t very polite as she nursed a bottle of water and pulled her dress strap up as it slipped down her shoulder.

Harry rested his head back against the wall with his ray bans on and his white shirt unbuttoned halfway down his chest.  He looked a little green.

Niall, with his tux jacket still on, was wolfing down food like he thought it would disappear the second he looked away, and Amber was half asleep with her head lying on her royal blue gloved arms that matched her dress.

Louis was rubbing his eyes sleepily and yawning every few minutes with his tie draped around his neck and his own tux jacket hanging on the back of the chair.

I saw there were two remaining seats next to each other that were empty.  Better yet one was by Louis, my target for the mission.  I glanced at Liam before hurrying into the seat by Louis while he rushed to get the one by Kim.

We each had the same goal in mind, and we knew who would be the first ones to say something about last night, and it would be a lot easier if we were next to them.

Amber raised her head angrily at all the noise until she saw it was us, and gave me a half smile before resting her head on her crossed hands.

Harry raised his shades to see who had arrived before sliding them back over his bloodshot eyes and leaning over to lay his head on Kim’s shoulder.

“You know Styles that wasn’t quite the wake up call I was expecting this morning,” I said still annoyed.  He gave me a cheeky smile as he shrugged his shoulders and took a sip of Kim’s water.

“It was definitely rougher than I expected…”

I glanced to my right to see if Louis would make some remark.  He stared back blankly.  Dammit, I thought, nothing.  Come on sass masta. Help me out here! I tried to mentally telepath his way.

“Why yer lookin’ at me like that?” he asked raising an eyebrow.

I sighed, “Nothing.”

“Kim, do you have some clothes Brit could borrow?  She didn’t have anything to put on this morning since her dress was worn out,” Liam said taking a shot to see if he would be more successful.

“Yeah, I have a few things she can borrow, but we were supposed to go shopping today anyway so she can pick up some stuff then,” Kim replied happily.
