"At last." Martin sighed on the other end of the telephone as Corvo told him the news. "We'll all sleep easier now, as will those already on the long rest."
Corvo smiled. "Yeah. We now have the key, too. He said that the scrolls were hidden somewhere within his rooms."
"Overseer's Office, huh? Figures he'd want to keep them close. I'll come over later today to give you the keys, and I'll make sure that the Watch gives you access."
"Thank you. If you're coming over, you'll be able to meet Elaine."
"Is that your science expert?"
"Much more than that, but yes."
Martin paused, and Corvo could almost imagine the grin. "Then I believe you have a lot more to celebrate. Congratulations."
"Thank you. Daud's got it into his head about a party here tomorrow night. If you can overlook almost twenty loudmouthed assassins and a lot of drunken singing, you're more than welcome to come and join us too."
"Hmm. I think that I will."
"We'll be starting at about seven."
"Okay. I'll see you soon."Corvo put the earpiece back into its receiver, then went over to Daud, who'd just walked into the study.
"Martin's coming over a bit later." He told him. "He'll give us the keys to that office, and keep the Watch off our backs."
"What a waste of all the perfectly-good skulking I was gonna do." Daud grinned. "Was lookin' forward to that."
"Make a change to have it easy for once, though."
"Guess so. Did you invite him?"
Sure did." Corvo nodded. "He's game."
Another grin burst out. "Fuck, this is gonna be the best party."
"It's still a ways off yet. Need those scrolls first. Is Elaine still working in the dungeon?"
"As always. Peerin' at stuff through that microscope."
"Let's give her the good news."
"Aye. Actually..." Daud paused to take hold of Corvo's face. "I've just thought of an idea."
"There's things to do, you know."
"There always is. Let's take Elaine with us."
Corvo's face changed, and he stared at his smiling friend. "What?"
"Yeah. She's not left the castle for days. She'll be climbin' the walls for all the wrong reasons." He then started to inch closer, his eyes fixed on Corvo's neck.
Corvo felt that familiar, faint whisper of arousal, and it delayed his words slightly. "...well yes, but it might be dangerous. She doesn't need to tag along, it only..needs......us." His words started to break down as he felt trailing lips on his neck.
Daud smiled. "It'll be a mini adventure. She'll love it. And plus, we might also find the odd rune or two, while we're out. We've not searched there yet, have we?" He carried on.
Corvo's arms moved onto Daud's hips. "Well no, cos' it's been guarded tighter than Slackjaw's arse."
He had the distinct impression that Daud was trying to subvert him, in order to float it past his caution. He supposed that it might be working...a bit. Damn him.
"She'll be safe," Daud whispered, "she's got both of us, right?" His hands dropped to start undoing Corvo's belt.
The sound of it stabbed at Corvo's belly, and he shivered. He then noticed the still-open door, and began to tense up.
Daud felt it, glanced backwards briefly, then used one of his gifts to push it closed with a slam before turning his full attention back to the rapidly-heating situation.
That same gift then helped to push Corvo onto a chair.
"...I don't need persuading, if that's what you're after." He said as Daud sank to his knees to start pulling trousers off.
"Yes you do." Daud grinned. "Need somethin' else, too."
The sudden change in mood, coupled with the fifty-fifty chance of possibly getting caught as they weren't in their rooms, meant that when Daud finally threw the trousers to the floor, a cast-iron rod of flesh was what greeted him.
"Hurry up!" Corvo hissed under his breath.
Again, that grin. "...nope. S'my turn now."
"Right now? You sure pick your..." Corvo paused as Daud's sinful tongue started working its magic. "...f-fuck's sake..." Was all he managed to add.
There was an extra edge, he'd grant him that. An urgency to it, that took his sensitive nerves and made them sing louder.
Don't walk in, don't walk in...
Not long after Daud had finally decided to use all of his mouth at long last, both men noticed that it was slightly tougher to draw breath. The air in the room grew heavier, if that was the word for it, and Corvo glanced around at the ceiling. Is that...
Over in the far corner, which Daud was looking at, a single thread of black started to gather and grow in the room, while another traced out the edges of the door and glued them shut.
Daud paused, removing the cock from his mouth, and smiled.
"Things just got more interesting." He said.
Corvo saw it too; this was either bad timing again, or something else that he wasn't sure if he wanted right now.
The latter turned out to be correct; that familiar, black-suited form appeared in the corner, cross-legged and in mid-air.
He uncurled himself, and his feet touched the floor.
"...I've been having a spate of granting wishes lately." The Outsider said to both of them with a completely straight face. "And now, I think it's time for one of yours."
"...I must be dreaming." Daud half-whispered.
"Not this time." He held a hand out, and one of the other chairs obeyed and flew into it. He placed it into the corner, and sat down a second later. "Don't stop on my account." He smiled.
Corvo blinked, then glanced down at Daud, who still had his hand wrapped around the base of Corvo's very interested dick.
Daud looked up at him, and his answering grin was vicious.
"One of yours too, Corvo." The Outsider added.
That was a shock. Daud's mouth flew open. "...really? You never said, you dark, dark horse!"
Corvo was speechless with embarrassment.
"Well now. I'd say you owe me." Daud began licking at the cock he was holding again, and to him it felt even harder. "I was right." He said inbetween the first few. "Really is the quiet ones."
Corvo was labouring by this point, trying to not get too excited by this entire development, but it became useless. It was bad enough that Daud was being even more of a tease, but now, there was a highly-curious audience as well. His eyes closed.
That's it. Just admit it, and let it carry you along. You will grow to wonder why you ever resisted...
