Back in the coffee shop, Tyler is contemplating whether or not he should tell Sam about Josh as he concluded that was probably the reason he seems happier- what else could it be?
"Well... I ran into someone today, they hit me in the face with a door but it was just an accident." Tyler says, a grin forming on his face.
"That's really great (in the nicest of ways) and also explains why you look like you've just been punched... what are they like?" Sam replies, taking a sip of the coffee Tyler only just noticed was there. He briefly wonders why she didn't choose to order him anything but the though quickly disintegrates - he would have just left it anyway, he doesn't eat a lot and only tends to drink water for reasons that aren't currently important.
"I don't really know, I've only met him once for a few minutes, he apologised a lot, I have to say it was a little infuriating but not painfully so. It's he by the way, I noticed you said 'they'" Tyler replies, adding the last sentence as only an afterthought.
