Chapter 1

Kagome:

I layed in the mud. In the rain. My pain was over whelming. I whimpered. I had been laying their for what seemed like hours. But I it guess was really only minuets. The evil demon had ambushed me on my way back to my time. I was headed home, needing to go through the well. Since I wasn't from this feudal ara.

As I lay in the weather I recalled the attack. I had been alone, after getting in a fight with Inuyasha. I had been fuming and let my guard down. I hadn't sensed them until it was too late .It was our enemy Niruko with his minion kagura. "Well well the little girl is all alone" the hafe demon sneared.  I gulped and readied my bow. "Kill her" Niruko ordered. Kagura glared at him, but obeyed. Her wind dance was like nothing I had ever felt. Her wind tore at me from all sides. I was being ripped to pieces. "Do it slowly, painfully. I want Inuyasha to know she died that way." Niruko ordered. Through the blood and the pain I saw him slink back into the shadows. 

I have no idea how long the torture lasted. Seconds, minuets, hours, days. I had no clue. The only thing I could register was the brutality. The searing, white pain. Finally her dance ended. My limp body feel to the ground. Covered in blood, struggling to breath. With the last of my strength I watched as numerous figures appeared, running towards my dying body. One was ahead of the rest, a worlwind of power. It couldn't be my companions Sango, the demon slayer, nor Mirouko the perverted monk or the have demon Inuyahsa and the two demons, a cat and a fox Kirla and shippo that also traveled with us .Those who approached were in more numbers. By I couldn't make out who with the loss of blood. My name was panickly called . Above me Kagura swore. She looked behind her where her master had disapeared. But stood her ground. Her white, magenta robe stained with my blood. Watching the new commers she lifted her fan, her only weapon above my head. Slowly to make the moment count. Giving a show. "You'll watch her die. Know that I am the one who killed her just like your precious brothers." 

'Brothers?' I tried to place what she was talking about. "You bitch! You'll pay!!" The voice sounded familar but the pain was blocking my mind from working, unable to place the face or name. "Sister!" 

Before my eyes the worlewind threw its self at my attacker. Driving her away. Giving Kagura one hell of a fight. I closed my eyes not wanting to watch any more. I was more interested in the warm sleep that was overcoming my tired, cold form. Two arms wrapped around me. My eyes opened to look at my holder. I forced my exhausted mind to place names to the faces. I was able to place my saviors, it was Ginta and Hirouko from the wolve demon tribe. Around us in a protective circle non-human formed members formed a protective barrier. If they were here it was almost a certainly that that gust of allied wind was Koga, the leader of the wolf demon tribe. A powerful, shikon jewel shard carrier. A man who fell in love with me. 

"Sister keep your eyes open! Please." Ginta begged from my side. Vaguly I remembered how I got that nick name. At the time Koga had kidnapped me for my ability of being able to see the scared jewel shards. He had taken me and shippo back to his packs den and held us their until he had need of me. He wanted to kill shippo and feed him to his wolves. I only saved him by a hair, threatening not to help him if he killed Shippo. However Shipoo used his replication ability and made him self look like Koga. We barley managed to flee the den before Koga the real one came back from hunting. In a desperate attempt I throw shippo over the cliff so he could transform again and fly away. He got away and headed out to get help. Koga had watched the situation unfold. My act impressed him. He quickly pointed out why I could be a good mate all the while he stating this in front of his pack. Which of course earned him a smack, since I didn't want him as a mate or anything else.Soon after his declaration the packed looked at me differently. Koga and the rest of his tribe brought me along on a raiding mission to defeat their enemies the birds of prey. The reason they kidnapped me in the first place. Their enemy had a shared, one they wanted.
