Kagome: 

We spent the night together, sleeping in the same bed. Nothing more happended, but the whole thing defently bothered me the next morning, how could he just be ok sharing a bed with me after everything happended. After everything was said. He had no idea what occurred when the enemy attacked, how could he but then again he had been out of bed the sick stupid idot. 

I rolled on my back dispite the pain. No one stopped me. No one was around to. Recognizing the structure I was in, I knew the others must be around somewhere but now the place was quiet. I was going to get up, find out what was going  then berarting Koga for getting up when sick. I managed to push my self to my feet only to stumbled after pushing the door open. Before I could hit the ground however, I found my self in the arms of Keada. "Fool, what are you doing?" against my better judment I had gotten up and now was paying the price. "You better hope you didn't open your wounds" she berated, lashing her harsh tounge at me. It was a sign she cared. 

Laid on my stomac once more, I felt her peel the bandages from my back. "You- look what you've done now" I could feel the fresh, free flowing warm liquid spilling down my back. I was a crying, whining floor banging mess by the time she was done. "Kagome, you know better. I expect this from Inuyasha but not you."

"What the hell's going on? Where is everyone?" When I finally calmed enough I asked that, "your in this condition and your worried about-, you scease to amaze me." She whiped up the spilled blood with a wet cloth. "If you must know Sango and Killara are pratorlling. Inuyasha and Miroku are in town. I don't know where the wolves have gone to." I felt my heart drop. "Kagome? What happended?" Pushing back the emotions of being abondend and forgotten, I pushed the tail from between my lips: "I was staying in a beach house. Koga must of tracked me down. Anyway he was sick when he found me and was laying in the house, resting when three of the band of seven attacked."

"Koga didn't have a scratch on him. But he was covered in your blood."

"Suikotsu slashed me when I defended Koga. We barley managed to get outta of there."

"You didn't have to defend him" I knew that I had all the time to save my self but then he would've been killed. Koga was a much bigger threat to Niruko then me, a preferable target. I was considered a waste of space and energy unless you wanted to watch someone getting tortured, depended how you looked at the matter. "I know."

"Then why?" she encouraged, I stared at the wall. Biting my lip, unwilling to spill my secret. "Kagome" she was pestering me. It wasn't until she took my silence did she figure out everything, "you were willing to die for him aren't you. You love him."

"Yes" I whispered, face gone beat read. I could be mistaken for a apple if my head was any smaller thats how red  my face was. "Aw young love" she looked off into space. "Don't you dare tell anyone" I snapped at the elderly women. "You can't stop me" she chuckled rising to her feet, heading towards the door. I called to her, almost to the point of raising my voice when I heard her chuckling. Seeing the smile on her face I saw she was only joking. "You are evil" I muttered, she contuined to lauph, heading out before ordering me stay. "I'm not a dog" I called though the barrier known as a door. "I know, thats Inuyasha's job." I had to laugh at her, she was on a roll today. This carefree, lauphibale side of her wasn't seen to often. I closed my eyes, taking her up on her words and getting some rest. I was a heavy sleeper do I guess I shouldn't be to surprised that when I woke up next on my own accord to find Koga next to me, out cold. From the light spilling in from the windows I knew it must be around late afternoon. From the amount of voices spilling in from the rest of the house I knew there must be atleast five others in the house. Ignoring the others, I focused on Koga, feeling his forehead. It was still warm. His fever was denfletly still there and had gotten worse. I grabed at a near by bucket filled wit cool water, dabling the clothe before placing it on his head. I never intended to startle him awake but sure enough his eyes poped open. "Sorry."
