Elizabeth's point of view

As Michael and I worked in my kitchen together on our lunch. I couldn't help but realize that started to feel a bond with Michael. Not because he is teaching me how to harness and control my true powers. But because he's different more like me. I know I have my grandmother but he is a friend a real friend. "Can you tell me where the spice cabinet is?" Michael asked looking rather lost? "The cabinet next to the range top," I answered smiling at him while telekinetically taking out what we needed. "You have improved a lot in a short time," Michael noticed that I was able to easily lift things kinetically. "I wouldn't have been able to do it without your help." I thanked him with a smile. "How do you normally take your pizza?" I asked pulling out various ingredients. "I like mushrooms on mine." Michael cheered. "Far out I do too." I agreed happily not knowing there is something evil masking his aura that it can't be sensed.

Unknown location

In a place far away place an ancient evil smolders. A dragon that sees and senses all is watching. The dragon marveled as he senses a presence unlike anything else. "A mortal girl, for such a limited form her essence is extraordinary. I can use that to my advantage. You have a lot to learn my dear." He acknowledged while shapeshifting to a man.

After a much-needed break, we are back in the forest. "Now Elizabeth lets see what you can do so far," Michael suggested while taking a stance while I nodded and took a deep breath and concentrate on the environment around me when I heard the heartbeat in my mind and felt it pounding through me. I took a stance when vines grow under my skin to deepen my bond with the forest. "Now come to me, let me see your power." I heard Michael telepathically speak in my mind. I started water-bending from a lake I saw to attack Michael and he turned my energy against me knocking me down. "I'm not going down that easy Liz." Michael boasted as he attempts to capitalize but I attempted to turn my power against him through water-bending but unfortunately, that didn't go so well as I sensed his power surging from him. I retreated and borrowed myself before he was able to attack again. "Damn, Michael's 10 steps beyond me at this rate there's no way in hell I can beat him.....I need help! " I panted while mentally pleading the forest around me as I took an even deeper and stronger hold of the environment around me. I do this I felt my powers grow again as I saw the vines under my skin glowing. As this happens I sensed Michael's presence close by. "He's close be still until I say so." I mentally command the forest.

"Where are you I know you're here I can sense it," I yelled out trying to concentrate on her aura but it's hard when it feels like she's everywhere. "Of course I'm here I'm everywhere, I can hear you. I can see you and I feel your every move." I heard her call out from all over. Then vines and Elizabeth bust out of the ground and with a wave of her hand's vines wrapped around me bringing me to my knees. I tried to concentrate on the environment around me to break free. But her connection with the forest is stronger than mine. A lot stronger and her power surging through her is getting stronger by the minute. She raised me to face her. "How did you do that?" I inquired whilst struggling with the vines holding me. "I did as you told me, used the environment around me to my advantage. Earlier I noticed I can hear the forest, control it but now I feel it!" She commented relishing in her power clinching her fists. "Listen to me, you can't let this consume you." I urged trying to make her listen. But all she did was raise her hands and more vines grown under her skin and her power went wild. Oh no she's completely lost control I got to snap her out of it. "Fair warning this is going to hurt." I apologized using my energy against her to wake her up. I heard her scream in pain and I saw the vines under her skin disappear and I saw her fall over and pass out. I picked her up bridal style and carried her back to the house. "I'm sorry, but it the only way to save you from being consumed your own power. I did say that the power we hold is very easy to lose control of, but I sense your will is strong. Please be mindful Elizabeth, you control the power it doesn't control you." I preached as I carried an unconscious Elizabeth back to my house.

I open my eyes and I see I'm laying in Michael's house with a migraine and feeling weakened. "Michael, what happened out there why do I have a headache?" I asked trying to get but failing. "It was a psionic burn," Michael informed looking rather disheveled. "I feel so tired." I murmured unable to move at all due to weakness. "I had to dilute your powers but don't worry it won't last long. I'm sorry Elizabeth I'm so sorry but you were losing control. I had to do something!" Michael apologized with regret in his voice "Hey, I'll get you back for that later." I chuckled lightly trying to brighten his mood which worked. "You should rest regain strength Elizabeth." He suggested holding my hand. "Good idea Michael." I thanked him while closing my eyes.

"There's no way anyone would be able to survive all that power surging through them. But she's different." I thought in amazement while healing her. That was when I felt her power coursing again. "How is this possible only dragons are able to hold this much power but she's not a dragon.." I wondered concentrating on my task as I do so I felt her growing by the second.
