Waking up to someone you're infatuated with is different then waking up next to someone who means nothing to you.

I felt like I was taking advantage of her.

But she knew I wouldn't stay, I made that very clear.

But still, I felt like I was taking advantage of her.

Those thoughts disappeared when I looked at her, her skin didn't look so sickly pale when she was with me & I didn't feel so empty when I was around her. We were each other's cure for what ever disease we had.

Maybe it was loneliness, heart break, what ever it was we somehow were able to make each other feel better to say the least.

Watching the way her eyelashes fluttered when they were beginning to open relaxed me somehow.

How can I leave this? Leave all the opportunities to wake up to this amazing person. Maybe it was the guilt of knowing once I left, she'd have no one.

"Morning." She said groggily. I returned it with a smile & said, "Morning." She shoved her face further into the pillow once I mentioned we had school. "Come on, it's only six hours of being around assholes." She chuckled at my comment because she knew it was true. Underneath that chuckled I could see the nervousness in her eyes. She was thinking about Graham.

I gently lifted her chin until she was facing me. "No ones gonna do anything to you, not so long as I'm around." She nodded, but it seemed like she wanted to do more.

"Come on, we've got school." She mumbled a no but that wasn't going to sit well with me. A smirk planted on my lips at the thought of my new plan to get her out of bed. I leaned down until my mouth was right next to her ear & whispered,

"If you don't get out of bed & go to school, I'm going to show you how much you'll have to learn about me & my favorite extra curricular activities." I set my hand on her waist when she jumped out of bed. I chuckled at her flushed face.

"Shit, I can't wear the same clothes I wore last night." I got up from my bed & handed her some of Cameron's clothes I got from her room last night. "Here, they should fit you just right." She took the clothes & went to change.

I had already gotten dressed once she came out freshened up.

"Alright let's go to hell." I chuckled, however Elisa was not smiling.

"You know, it really isn't that bad."

"What do you mean."

"Well as long as you keep your head down & ignore everyone it really isn't that bad." I scoffed at her comment.

"Yeah it must be really easy when someone's forcing their lips onto yours."

"Wow, thanks" she stormed out with her bag in hand.

"You're only getting angry because you know I'm right-"

"You know what my life was a whole lot easier when you weren't there to complicate every single thing & change nearly every view I've already set." I stepped forward in a challenging way.

"Really?" She seemed a little more unsure this time around.

"Yes."

"You're such a liar."

"Am not."

"Are too."

"Yeah real mature Ethan."

"Hey, you're the one who can't handle the truth. I didn't mean it in a disrespectful way, it just makes me angry, alright?"

"Okay." We continued to walk down the sidewalk but she refused to hold my hand. "Now who's being immature." We both chuckled as she playfully elbowed my ribs. Somewhere along the way, Elisa's guard was down & I was able to snake my arm around her waist.

Once the school came into view I could feel Elisa poking my side. "Hm?"

"What was that favor you wanted me to do, for this Friday."

"We can talk about that later."

Don't take advantage of her Ethan.

Hope you all had a good thanksgiving :) Ethan liked one of my tweets today & I'm so happy alsockqnw it was the first time he noticed me since last August 😩
