A little boy, Jake, woke up in the middle of the night from a nightmare.
In the nightmare he woke up and went to his parents room and there were his parents in the bed and another pair on the floor.
He thought in his dream that the bad people would try and trick him so he woke the pair on the floor and immediately regretted it. The 'parents' sat up and grinned with glowing red eyes. They lurched at him then he woke up.
He padded into his parents room and saw his parents on the bed....and a pair on the floor. He screamed and ran to his room. He fell asleep curled up in a ball. In the morning he went to his parents room and saw that the other 'parents' were just a bundle of clothes. But he will never forget the fear that rushed thought his little 8 year old heart.
