Your pov

My name is {y/n}, my servamp is Mother of Wrath, and I love sweets and Mahiru Shirota. I love everything about him. I love how he doesn't complicate things and looks at the big picture simply. He's encouraging and kind. The list could go on forever but, before he was my boyfriend we were strangers. Mahiru saved me... from myself.

*Before we meet about 3 weeks ago*

"Why can't I ever make friends? I always get fake friends. What's it like to have someone other than family care about you?"

I'm currently walking home with my servamp asleep in my bag. Talking to myself as well as crying. The stress that was building up finally started to break. I can hear the rustling of the people around me. My vision was blurry and my mind was completely distracted. Too distracted. I was walking straight into car traffic and I wasn't paying attention. Right before I was hit by an upcoming car, a body slammed me back into the sidewalk. I finally was knocked out of my day dream.

"Ouch... what happened?"

"Are you ok!? I'm terribly sorry for my roughness."

I looked up to see beautiful, amber eyes, staring at me with worry. After a moment of gazing I replied back.

"Y-yes I'm fine. Thank you for saving me. I just... zoned out." This is embarrassing! Why does he look so cute!?

"*sigh* Thank goodness. I'm Mahiru Shirota."

"I'm {y/n} {l/n} but please call me {y/n}."

"Hehe nice to meet you. Umm If you don't mind me asking. Why were you crying?"

"Ehhh!? I wasn't crying!"

"Haha the dry tears on your face say otherwise."

"A-alright I'll tell you but, could we go to the park to talk? I'd rather be away from people."

"Sure."

This guy is something else he makes my heart flutter just by the sound of his voice. I can't be falling in love that's too cliché! We arrived at the park and sat on the swings. I explained to Mahiru what's been happening. When I did his face showed sadness yet a comforting smile.

"And that's all there is to it. For some reason people use me and when their done I'm tossed away again. I just don't know what to do anymore."

"{y/n} if it's alright with you can I be your friend?"

"I don't want pity."

"No, I'm serious. From what you've told me it seems you are very talented and smart. Your personality is so gracious and kind. I would love to have a friend like you."

"M-Mahiru... heh thank you."

I started at him for a moment then gazed back at my feet with a blushing smile. I finally have a friend but, before that I need to introduce him to my servamp.

"Mahiru there's someone I want you to meet." I pulled out mother wrath from my purse and woke her up.

"Huh!? You have a servamp too!?"

"Too?!"

"Yea! Nee, Kuro wake up! Do you know who her servamp is?"

"Nnnnnnn so annoying. Ah. Sister, it's been a while." Said the cute cat.

"Yea it's been too long onii-san." Said my servamp.

This is so great we have something in common! We both have servamps! Maybe this friendship will last after all. We spoke to each other the whole afternoon , thus bringing us back to the present.

~back to present with Mahiru~

At the moment Mahiru and I are holding hands, walking to his house for baking. He found out along the way about my sweet tooth and every now and then he bakes me sweets. I had an obvious smile on my face as we walked home.

"{y/n} why are you smiling like that?" He asked giggling.

"Because I was thinking about how we first meet. I'm happy that I've meet you. You saved me from being alone. Not to mention that you'd actually date a boring girl like me."

"You're not boring, to me you're the most beautiful and extraordinary girl in the world. You can't be replaced or forgotten."

"I love you Mahiru. So very much."
I gave his hand a squeeze and gazed into his eyes.

"I love you too. Heh." Mahiru gave me a big closed eyed, smile. He was blushing at his statement from earlier.

I grabbed his tie and pulled him down down to my level and stole a kiss. Mahiru was shocked and stiff but, it wasn't long till he relaxed into the kiss. I pulled away and smiled at him.

"We're almost home. I can't wait to eat your sweets!~"

"Heha, I'll make you some muffins today."

"I can't wait. Thank you Mahiru... for everything."
