Kuro's pov

Knowing myself I don't like handling difficult things. I can barely handle my Eve. *sigh* I'm more or less getting used to it. I can't help but, burry all of my feelings and annoying thoughts. They're so troublesome. Then came along my younger brother Hyde. He had his first subclass, a young woman about Mahiru's age. She seemed agitated and confused. Mahiru approached her with a gentle smile.

"Hello I'm Mahiru. What's your name?"
He said holding out a hand but, but the girl slapped it away.

"Like I'd want to tell you."
She said scornfully. Mahiru tried to keep up his smile but, me on the other hand was willing to try and help her. Hyde walks up to her and tries to calm her down.

"Now now {y/n} there's no need to be like that this is my friend and older brother."

"But Hyde-sama I don't know these people and I don't care to. It's a waste of my time."
She said glaring at us. Not letting this slide I decided to talk to her.

"Heeeehhhh so this {y/n} has some attitude doesn't she Hyde?"
I said slowly approaching them.

"I'm sorry nii-san she's new you know and I'm just trying to help her open up more."

"To bad your first subclass is an annoying girl."
I looked over to the now annoyed vampire. She takes a step forward ready to go out.

"Now listen here droopy eyes. I didn't ask to see your retarded face I'm just following my masters orders! I don't need your stupid remarks! You don't know me or what I've been through! So shut the hell up and go back to your Eve's side like a good kitty."
After {y/n}'s out burst she trotted away.
I looked over at Mahiru and he had an you messed up now fix it face on. I sighed and went after her.

Your pov

I can't believe that guy! Who does he think he is!? Talking to me like that!? Maybe I don't want to interact with people who I don't need! Maybe I don't want friends! Maybe I just want to be alone!!! Ugh! He pisses me off!!!

As I was trying to find a place where I could be alone Kuro jumps in front of me.

"What do you want?"
I said going around him but, before I could he grabbed my arm making me stop in my tracks.

"Let go of me!"

"No. Not until you listen."

"You're annoying."

"And your troublesome."

"Ugh let me go I'll listen."
He let's go of my arm but I still had my back to him.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to belittle you like that. I'm still learning on how to not be closed up kind of like you."

"O really? You don't know anything abou-"

"I don't need to, to know that you struggled it shows in the way you interact with others. I get that but, you don't need to stay closed off from my Eve. He is so stubborn but... he cares for others and gets his nose into other people businesses. Yet he always leaves the place a little bit better. Plus it wouldn't be so bad if I got know an annoying girl like you."

"... I... I don't know what to say."
I slightly turn around to see his expression. And that's when it hits me. His eyes held nothing but, truth and kindness. How can someone like him have such eyes?

"Let's start over, ok? Hey I'm Kuro."
He says with a small smile and his hand held out.

"Hi... I'm {y/n}..."
I said with a smile and small tint of pink.

Maybe... just maybe...
I can open up to this guy.
