Sometimes I look around and realize that the person sitting next to me has a mind.
That person is a being with the same coursing blood in their veins as me.
It's pretty easy to get caught up with one's own problems and dreams, and rightly so.
But sometimes, during times of strange quietness or even the loudest of times, you can realize the person before you.
You can see, you can feel, and you can appreciate the fact that someone else has things on their mind that you don't.
It's fascinating.
To see a person's soul through their eyes, or even across miles.
But to feel someone's presence without them being there in your own mind.
There are people that believe you, disagree with you, and even love you because they feel the same as you do before you come across this fleeting thought.
Fleeting it may be, but the thought never disappears.
You are just another person in a world of people that are just as important as yourself.
It's a lesson of selflessness and a lesson of what wonder this world has.
There is a difference between seeing yourself with the world around you, or seeing a world with yourself in it.
Think about it.
How do you see people? How do you see the world? And most importantly, how do you see the person in front of you?
Even if you are looking in a mirror.
