Goodnight said the moon
To the lovers in the park
Fare well said the couple
To the lonely, young man
Awaiting in the dark.
As the rain began to poreAll things felt right
Like the darkness wasn't there
Instead, however, replaced with sunlight.
He soon understood
What he must do.
Run away from home
And seek somewhere else to call refuge.
Tonight I run from love
To drink from a cup
Full of inspiration and radiant hugs.
Maybe time can correct its self
While I'm gone
So that the moon goes away
And I can rejoice in the sun.
