I woke up feeling more determined than ever to prove that I deserve to stay at high school. I even dressed for the occasion. I don't exactly know how or when I'm going to do it, but I'm hoping it'll come to me.

I walked into the kitchen with a small bounce in my step and noticed my mum making pancakes. The sweet aroma hit my nostrils.
"You look lovely today sweetie" my mum stated, glancing away from her pan and looking down at my purple summer dress. I'm not usually this girly at all but you know I thought I'd mix it up a little. I smiled and did a little twirl.

"Why thank you very much" I replied satisfied, taking a seat at the kitchen table by a plate of pancakes. I can't remember the last time mum made me pancakes for breakfast. I scooped it into my mouth and made a noise of satisfaction. I looked up to see my mum's expectant face and I grinned.

"These are great mum, whats the ocassion?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

Shrugging she responded "Well you know, since you are having a hard time at the moment I thought I'd brighten the mood, and whats a better way to do that than pancakes in the morning?" she began messing with her fingers, obviously not knowing whether this was a good idea or not.

She must think im a ticking time bomb or something. I gave her a reassuring look and told her I'm perfectly fine which she was more than happy to accept. After literally inhaling the yummy goodness I thanked mum and began making my way to school.

The bus ride to school was as normal as it could be, besides the odd glances I was receiving, probably from my little scene yesterday at school. I easily brushed them aside. I decided to leave my hair down today and show off my bright purple streak that flowed through my hair. I was beginning to like it, it was eccentric and made my usual normal brown hair look unique.

I could feel someone's gaze burning into the back of my head, making me feel slightly uncomfortable. I frowned and wiggled awkwardly in my seat trying to rid of the feeling. I know I am-was a green but you'd think people would get used to the fact by now and stop staring at me, honestly. I still sported my dark purple rimmed sunglasses and I know what you're thinking, more purple? But it just so happened that my favourite colour is purple so now I'm really colour coordinated, just my luck.

The heavy stare still hadn't left the middle of my head and was beginning to push my happy mood aside. I swiftly turned around with a scowl on my face ready to tell whoever the culprit is to mind their own business when whoever it was had stopped. Everyone sitting behind me was either listening to music or staring at their phones. Probably talking to one of their many friends my mind just had to add in there. I shuffled back around annoyed and nearly smacked my head onto the window beside me in fright. The guy who banged into me yesterday was sitting next to me.

"Whoa, calm down girl!" he exclaimed holding his hands in the air with a grin plastered on his face. I clenched my jaw.

"You shouldn't be sitting with me, what if your lovely friends see you sitting with the freak" I stated harshly, my eyes narrowing in suspicion.

I looked over to the front of the bus to see if the water elementals were giving him dirty looks but they didn't even glance my way. Weird.

He dropped his hands and settled into his seat, giving me yet another grin.
What's this guy up to because if he tries something he's going to wish he hadn't.

"What's wrong with sitting here? I'm just trying to be nice" he replied. Yeah..right.

I turned my head away from him and looked out the window at the many houses. Content with ignoring him and thinking he would leave. He didn't.

"I'm Aaron, what's your name?" He asked calmly.

I turned my head towards him and glared through my sunglasses even though he couldn't see.
"Look, if this is some kind of sick joke to make fun of me;which it probably is, then can you piss off back to your little water gang and leave me the hell alone!" I snapped.

The look on his face clearly said 'ouch'
But he wiped it off and his usual sheepish grin was back. We finally arrived at school.

"Well it was a pleasure meeting you Ally" he implied standing up and walking out of the bus. Yeah... the pleasures all yours.

It wasn't until I made It inside did I realise I didn't actually give him my name. I knew he was messing with me.
Asshole.

~.~.~

My first block of the day was P.E which is my second least favourite of the lot, if not tying for 1st place with English.

Right now I was standing in the gym with the rest of my class in front of the huge obstacle course that took up most of the space, my gym shorts tight against my thighs and sunglasses on my face. It was easy to convince my teacher that it was crucial I wear them, which came as a shock since he hates when people try to change his rules-not that I'm complaining.

I sighed in boredom unlike everyone else in my class who stood at attention, excitement clear on their faces. They all began talking avidly. This class serves me no purpose whatsoever, each and every school has one to help us kids improve the usage of our elements.

A voice spoke up and everyone immediately quietened down.

"Alright, you all know the course. If I see any of you lazy asses stopping then thats 20 push-ups for the lot of you!" Mr Hunt our fire elemental P.E teacher shouted at us.

Groans of complaint rose from the class but nobody dare spoke.

I don't get out of breath easily so it's not like running is bad. But that's not the reason I hate this class, it could be because of our grumpy teacher but it's mostly because everyone here except me uses their element to their advantage.

He signalled for us to start and everyone dashed forward. The first part was monkey bars, simple enough- or so I thought. Underneath them was four feet of water, now you can imagine what it's like not having an element when each part is dedicated to one in particular.

A girl in front of me swiftly ran forward lifting her hands and momentarily created a plank like bridge out of water for her to quickly run over. The water then came crashing back down into the ground as she finished. Shit. My eyes widened as I attempted to move back but to no avail. Droplets upon droplets rained down on me and some others, the girls squealing in shock.
Lovely, I licked my lips and shook my head. With my hair now practically drenched in water I quickly ran forward and began doing the bars the natural way, finishing without falling in, or coming into contact with anyone else. Thank god.

The familiar burn on my hands from the bars made me cringe and I wondered what it would be like not having to do certain courses the proper way. A rock wall appeared before me as I started jogging towards it.

"Keep up freako!" a feminine voice shouted through a burst of air that zoomed past me making my hair whip into my face. I spat some of my hair out of my mouth and I pulled my hair to the side.

"At least I don't need the help of an element to finish this unlike your unfit ass does!" I shouted even though she was already gone.

My trainers padded to a stop and I rested my hands on my hips as I blew out some air. Two buff guys stood underneath the Rock wall chuckling in a squatting position.

"Ready mate..go!" The two of them completely avoided the whole idea of the wall and whooshed into the air in sync landing at the top with a loud thud. They high fived. Of course this one is a breeze for air elementals. I shook my head, now I have to climb the bloody thing! Yay for me.

I took hold of the grip, the gritty material reminding me of the burn I have on my hands. I grimaced and Hoisting myself up I started climbing. Nearing the top I heard giggles from the other side, I tilted my head up to see Jenny, a major air head smiling innocently down at me.

"Come on green eyes, you're making everyone else wait for your slow ass!" She stated twirling her blonde hair and leaning over the edge, her grey eyes holding an evil glint.

Pausing for a second I looked down to spot a group waiting for me to finish, impatient scowls on all their faces.
why can't they just understand that I can't exactly fly over the freaken wall!

I grunted and moved my left hand reaching for the next grip when Jenny winked at me raising her hand In front of her face, palm facing up. Oh god.

"Wait! Sto-"

She angled it towards me and blew down sending a rush of air towards me hard enough to make me lose my grip.

My eyes widened and so did hers as I flailed my arms in the air looking like a crazy lady as I tried to grapple at something-anything so that I don't fall like a rock to the ground.

My sunglasses started to slip off my face but I couldn't keep them on , they effortlessly flung through the air away from my view and my fear filled eyes were exposed. Jenny's jaw went slack as she looked right at my eyes, a variety of emotions showing in her eyes- shock, confusing and..fear? The last one she quickly hid as if it never came. Maybe she'll think she was seeing things.

I clenched my jaw and shut my eyes tightly awaiting the fall as gravity pulled me down.

It didn't come.

I opened one eye reluctantly and noticed a dozen eyes staring back.
I gasped and went to scramble away but I was held firmly in place by.. Air?

"Put me down now!" I shouted shutting my eye again from all the onlookers. I was floating 5 inches above the ground!

"Jenny, put her down immediately!"
Mr Hunts voice bellowed throughout the gym. My both attacker and saviour dropped her hold earning me an oomph from the sudden impact on the ground. I groaned and stood up rubbing my eyes as Mr Hunt shouted angrily at Jenny telling her to give him 30 push-ups. That cold bitch, she deserved it.

I sighed heavily and dropped my hands to my sides, forgetting about the people that surrounded me. Their strong gazes made me cringe and I bit my lip.

"What are you staring at?" I asked exasperated, waving a hand in the air as a frown appeared on my face.

"Oh nothing, purple eyes" a blonde haired boy in the middle responded sneering at me.

My lips made an 'O' shape as I backed up from the suspicious eyes. Oh boy, this wasn't exactly how I wanted my plan to go.
