Hi everyone! Hope you are liking the series so far, don't forget to vote and comment what you think! Here is a photo of Bonnie :)

Everything happened in a blur. All I remember was the sight of Cassidy's pale and peaceful face, and myself crying. They told me the needle reacted bad to her. They tried to save her. But she went too quick. It wasn't her time to go. Her last words echoed in my head, along with her gorgeous brown eyes sparkling.

"You'll do fine. You always have."

It made me cry even more knowing I couldn't do anything about it.

I stifled another sob, as I watched the car take off and zoom down the street, disappearing down a bend. I fell to my knees, putting my face in my hands, trying hard to not scream. An arm wrapped me in a warm hug.

"I'm so sorry Carmen." Said the warm, hushed voice. I looked up to see Aaron's face center meters away from mine, his brown eyes, filled with sorrow.

"Come." Said Bonnie on my other side, putting her small hand on my arm, helping me stand up. "Why?" I croaked. I saw Bonnie and Aaron glance at each other from the corner of my eye. They didn't answer, because they didn't know why she was taken away from the world. Taken away from me.

We didn't do the test for a few days. They tested the needles out, making sure that it wouldn't kill anyone else. It had been ages since I didn't go into the foyer. I stayed in the dormitories the whole time. Surprised faces watched my every move, as I grabbed a tray of steaming food, and headed to sit with Aaron and Bonnie. Mason glanced at me, and surprisingly, he didn't even smirk.

"Hey." I turned around to see Darcy.

"Hey Darcy." I said, and couldn't help smiling. His gorgeous shining eyes gleamed, as they stared at my brown eyes.

"I'm sorry." He said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Yeah." I managed to say. He put a hand on my arm.

"You're really strong." He commented, before leaving to sit back down across from Mason. I caught Bonnie and Aaron staring at me, and their glares were than replaced with small, warm smiles.

"Look who's up." Joked Bonnie.

"Yup." I replied. I then noticed something. As much as Cassidy being gone broke me down- I felt like just curling up into a ball in the corner of the room and sobbing. But I can't do that. I knew Cassidy wouldn't want that either. I will complete these set of tests for my sister. For Aaron and Bonnie. For my Uncle and Auntie. For my parents.

The pasta tasted smooth and warm in my mouth.

"What did Darcy say to you?" Asked Aaron, eyeing me.

"Nothing. Just said he was sorry."

"That's all?" He asked, raising his eyebrows, unconvinced.

"Yeah." I said. I looked down at the pasta, playing around with it with my fork. I could feel Bonnie's and Aaron's eyes burning into me.

"Carmen." Said Aaron in a hushed tone. I looked up at him, and he looked dead serious. "Be careful around him okay?"

"Aaron- he's fine." I said eyeing him suspiciously. Aaron shook his head and looked back at his half touched meal. I looked over to Bonnie, as she looked back at me, making a silly grouchy face. I stifled a giggle.

"Everyone!" Boomed a voice. I looked over to see Emma standing at the doorway of the foyer. "Please proceed with me, your next test will begin." She ordered. "This last test should decide who is Chosen," She added, before strutting back down the hallway.
