We're All Just The Same (Matty Healy)

"Why do I feel emptiness when I'm not high" I say as I stare at my pale reflection. I wonder why I can't just be okay without drugs but my thoughts are interrupted when I receive a text id been waiting for all morning, I pick up my phone to read the reply from Amy, my dealer I like to call her my healer for obvious reasons, I wouldn't go as far as calling her a friend though I have known her since high school but we are more of acquaintances than anything else. 'Yeah I have your order you can come pay me around 3 like always -Amy' 

I send a quick reply back before heading to the shower, I turn my music up full blast and try drown out the outside world and to drown my mind.

I step out of the bathroom, music turned right down so I can again hear my thoughts. I head towards my bedroom but I'm stopped in my tracks when I see a person sitting on my couch I grip my towel as they turn around and I'm greeted with a mop of curls and Matty hiding under them, "what the hell are you doing in my house" i try and calmly say but obviously fail as Mattys smile slowly falters

 "Well i did knock and call your phone but you had your music up louder than a concert so, I thought I would just come in since your door was unlocked I'm sorry I hope you don't mind," he says running his fingers through his hair and trying not to look down and my towel covered body.

"ugh okay" not really caring anymore being more worried about getting some clothes on, "I'm just going to get dressed just wait here as you were" I say as I rush to my room and throwing on some ripped black jeans and a jumper and no makeup, not wanting to make Matty wait for me any longer, even though I didn't plan on him being her right now but I'm just going to ignore that.

"so" walking out of my room with a pair of shoes in my hand "I'm guessing your very eager to go hang then" I laugh as I sit down starting to tie my shoes on my feet, 

Matty watches me before replying "uh well you could say that... I just got really bored and texted you and thought I would just surprise you here so I asked Ryan for your address and here I am"

"here you are" I laugh again before standing up and grabbing my phone and seeing the missed calls and texts from Matty, I smile and turn to him "well should we go then" he jumps up and smiles at me "we shall".

Neither of us could make a decision on what to have for lunch so we ended up buying sandwiches and take-away coffee's and Matty promising to take me somewhere I had never seen before and to that, I had told him I highly doubt it.

As Matty takes another turn on a road I've sure enough never been on in my entire life I look around in awe we have basically entered a wonderland of tall trees for miles, a forest I had been in before in high school when we ran away from our parents and got drunk and high deep behind all the trees, but where we are driving now I had never seen. 

After a short while, Matty finally stops the car in front of some huge bushes. He turns in his seat and looks at me, I laugh when he doesn't say anything but sticks his pinky finger out "I'm not promising anything unless you tell me what it is I'm giving up my life for" I say as he chuckles "I want you to promise to never share this place with anyone, not even your dog" he says being very serious "I don't have a dog" I say looking into his dark eyes trying to be equally as serious "Jesus woman just promise me you won't tell anyone about this place.......please" he says while holding his pinky out closer to me.

"fine" I grab his pinky with my own "say I promise" He grips my finger a wee bit tighter "I promise" I say with a grin "okay then lets go" he yells while running out of the car and running into the woods I continue to laugh at the boy while running to catch up with him.

High i mean hi how are we im very sorry that i havent updated in like ten years but i have spent a wee while planning out the next few chapters and i'm quite excited for it so again i hope you stick around and i will try and update more i am going to start on the next chapter right after this goes up so.... see ya xxxx and thank you for reading!!!
