Chapter #7

Honey's POV

Tama-chan then looked at Haruhi saying, "Text her saying that help is on the way." She nodded her head in return before doing what she was asked to do.

Lucy's POV (Before she called Haruhi)

After leaving my mom's grave, I went to the store to get some food for dinner since I knew that my dad wasn't going to cook me anything. Once I got home, I noticed that my dad wasn't home just yet but there were beer bottles all over the floor like usual.

I sighed and put the food in the fridge so I can cook it when dinner time for me comes. As I finish putting the food in the fridge I heard the front door open and close with a slam.

I flinched and kept doing what I was doing, trying to be as quiet as I could in hopes that my dad wouldn't do anything or see me. But I was wrong, I'm always wrong.

He walked into the kitchen with a smirk on his face once he saw me so I gave him a slight nod before I quietly tried to leave the room but my dad grabbed my wrist very tightly.

"Dad, you're hurting me. Please, let go." I asked in a calm voice hoping that it would work but like usual, it didn't. He pulled me back so I could see his face but all I could see was that horrible smirk on his face.

His usual smirk that always told me that he wasn't going to let me go no matter what I did or asked.

I was scared because I knew what was going to happen next but my dad didn't care. He loved it that I was scared and in pain that is the thing that he gains by doing this to me.

But it's nothing new to me, true, after a while I became somewhat numb to it but it still hurt. But he has been doing this since mom was alive, why would he stop now?

My dad then raised his right hand and punched me on the right in the side of my face causing me to fall onto the floor with a loud thump.

But then as I started to get up he decided to start kicking me in the gut as hard as he could which resulted in me coughing up blood.

I fell back to the floor many times in pain.

No matter how many times I tried to get up he would just kick me back down onto the floor and it was painful. I think I might have a broken rib or two. Once he got sick of kicking and punching me, he went to get a knife - his favorite tool to use on me.

I couldn't move so I could only watch as he went into the kitchen to grab the knife.

When he came back to where I lied on the floor, he started to cut me anywhere that showed skin. But he got bored of that after a couple of minutes so he dropped the knife on the floor near my face before heading into the living.

I was still in the hallway when I heard the sofa groan as my dad's body lied down on it. Once all was quiet, I got up as fast as I could running to my room not caring about the pain I was feeling in my stomach or anywhere on my body.

The instant that I got to my room, I locked the door and got out my phone. Normally, I would never call anyone but I knew that once he woke up and no longer saw me on the floor that he would come after me again.

So I called Haruhi so that she can get me out of this house and hopefully sooner rather than later, my dad won't stay asleep long. The phone rang for a few seconds before I heard her say "Hello?"

( L = Lucy & H = Haruhi )

L - Hey can you come to my house and help me with something?

H - I guess but what do you need help with?

L - Nothing much really. I just need you to sneak me out of the house.

H - Okay but I don't know where you live so.....

L - I'll send you the address. Can you please hurry? I don't know when he is going to come into my room!

H - Who is he?

Then I hear my dad yelling in the living room, he saw that I was no longer laying in the hallway. So I looked at my door as I quickly said "I have to go but I'll send you the address. Just, hurry. Please."

Once I said that I hung up the phone and sent her the text. That was when I heard my dad hitting on the door extremely hard. My fear started to rise more and more so I quickly ran into my bathroom, locking the door.

I then hear my bedroom door get broken down and my dad yelling my name. I flinched and quickly put my phone on silent so he wouldn't hear my ringtone go off just in case someone texts me or calls me.

After 5 minutes of full silence in my room, I get a text from Haruhi saying "Help is on the way."

I was so happy to see those words but just as I was about to send back a text, my bathroom door was broken down. I looked up to see my dad standing there in the doorway looking pissed.

I was sitting on the floor near my shower as he walked over to me. I quickly hid my phone as he reached out his hand.

He grabbed me by my hair and dragged me out of the bathroom as I screamed in pain.
