Kaoru's POV

I looked at him and then I looked out the window saying "I don't know." Hikaru hummed at my answer and neither of us talked the rest of the car ride home.

Haruhi's POV

The next day as I was leaving my apartment, I noticed that there was no sounds coming from Lucy's apartment. Which was really odd because her apartment is usually a little loud in the morning due to Yumi and Yuu.

So I went over to the door and knocked on it thinking that Lucy or one of the twins would answer but Kyoya answered the door in a pair of pants and no shirt.

I blushed a little and quickly looked away while saying "Kyoya-senpai, what are you doing at Lucy's apartment?" Kyoya must of then noticed that he had answered the door, most likely thinking that he was at his place and not Lucy's.

He quickly closed the door and that was the last I saw of him, until the door opened again showing the twins in their clothes for the day. Yumi was wearing a light blue dress and Yuu was wearing a red t-shirt with a pair of jeans.

"Hi Haruhi." they said together and so I said 'hi' back to them. They then let me inside the apartment and said "Mom and Kyoya will be out in a minute." Yuu said to me as we sat in the living room.

"Do you know why Kyoya spent the night here?" I asked them both and Yuu nodded his head saying "He came around midnight saying he got in a fight with his father and that he didn't want to be there at the moment. But I don't believe him."

I was about to ask Yuu why he didn't believe Kyoya, but Lucy and Kyoya walked into the living room. "Oh, hi Haruhi. What are you doing here?" Lucy asked me as she and Kyoya put their shoes on.

"I noticed that it was quiet over at your apartment so I wanted to see if something happened." I said to her as we all left the apartment and into Kyoya's limo. Lucy looked at me as the limo started moving and said "Oh. Nothing was wrong, we were just waking up from sleeping when you knocked at the door."

"Okay." was all I said to her and after that, the rest of the car ride was quiet minus the sound of Yuu and Yumi talking to each other about what they thought their first day of school is going to be like.

I smiled at them before looking out the window as all of the houses and trees flew by us.

Tamaki's POV

As I got to school, I saw Kyoya's limo pull up behind me and so I waited for him to get out of the limo but what shocked me was that not only did Kyoya get out of the limo but Lucy and Haruhi as well.

I then quickly ran over to Kyoya and said "Why were my daughter's coming out of your limo?!" He looked at me and said, "I picked them up at their apartment and drove them to school."

I gave him a blank look because of Kyoya's straightforward answer. That was when Haruhi looked at Kyoya and then at me while saying "Kyoya-senpai that's not right, you were at...." But she was stopped by Lucy, who covered her mouth.

"Wait don't cover her mouth, I want to hear the rest of what she was saying!!!" I said and Haruhi got dragged off by Lucy and Kyoya walked away as well. I stood there as they walked off with Haruhi being dragged behind them.

So I walked to class thinking about what Haruhi was trying to tell me.

Throughout the day I couldn't help but think about that sentience that Haruhi never got to finish. So after all of our classes we over, I ran the whole way to Haruhi's class.

Once I got there I looked inside the room to see Haruhi was still packing up her things and the minute she was done I ran over to her and grabbed her arm. I then bolted out of the room with Haruhi flying behind me.

When we got to an empty classroom I stopped and looked at Haruhi waiting for her to catch her breath. "Tamaki-senpai, why did you do that?!" she said to me and I said, "What were you about to say to me this morning when I asked Kyoya why you two were coming out of his limo?"

"Oh! Kyoya never drove to our apartment to pick us up. Yuu said that he went to Lucy's apartment around midnight because he and his father got into a fight so he didn't want to be at home. So he spent the night at Lucy's." She said to me.

I almost blew up in anger, not because of the fact that Kyoya and Lucy wanted to hide this from me but because Kyoya spent the night at one of my daughter's apartments without letting me know.

Haruhi must have noticed this because she said "Tamaki-senpai are you alright?" I nodded my head and smiled while walking out the room all the way to the host club room with Haruhi walking behind me.

As we got closer to the host club room, my anger just kept growing and growing.

But before I could even open the door, I felt someone touch my arm. I looked down at the hand that was touching my arm, I followed the hand all the way to Haruhi who was standing behind me with a smile.

A smile just me. A reassuring smile. Just. For. Me.
