Escaping The Apocalypse

       The group after a roller coaster of events and the not so shocking news that Haru likes Rin came out; the group had decided they didn't want to sleep on the floor. They began to search for abandoned houses in hope for a place to stay. They stumbled upon a neighborhood that at the end of the street was a house they thought they should investigate.
" alright i'll go in and check and see if its clear, on my signal we move in" Bernón told the group. He slowly walked up to the door, trying to look in through the window he couldn't make anything inside. His hand touched the door nob, as he opened the door he looked out for zombies or any from of movement. After looking throughout the house he went outside signaling the group to enter.
" what did you find out?" Kai asked.
" there is 4 bedrooms, so we have to share again, besides that there is 3 bathrooms; other than that its just a lonesome house" Bernón informed.
" there is a mater room, a guest room, and two rooms with twin beds" he continued leading the group into the house. The home was large enough for all the teens to live in temporarily if they choose to.
" alright guys go find your rooms" Dust softly demanded.
Blue quickly caught up to Serefina linking arms.
" We're bunking together! I need to know whats going on between you and Kai " she said laughing.
Meanwhile the guys took the twin bed rooms while the rest of the girls took the master bed setting down their backpacks and meeting back at the living room.
" Well who's going to take first watch tonight? " Blue wondered.
" i will" Rin claimed.
"Rin you're injured shouldn't you i don't know maybe get some rest?"
" well the faster i take shift the more i can sleep and plus I'm not that tired with the whole foot pain" she said mentioning her injury.
" fine i'll take first watch with you" he said sure about his decision.
Rin being too tired decided not to fight and allow him to take shift with her. Meanwhile the rest of the group said their temporary good nights heading off to bed.
As the two sat in the couch Haru couldn't help himself but have to talk to Rin.
" Rin"
" look Haru i know. You are so sorry and you wish you never did what you did and you wish you could take it back i know. I get it and yes i do believe you didn't mean to hurt me but that doesn't mean you didn't. But I'm done holding a grudge, i don't want to be angry at you forever so I forgive you. " she said finally.
"But if you ever try to hurt me again i will personally rip you to shreds." She said bluntly.
" thank you so much Rin!" He said hugging her tightly.
Meanwhile Blue couldn't catch a wink and since serefina was sleeping, she decided she wanted to stay up. As she made her way to Raiden's room she heard shuffling from the other side of the room. She softly knocked and heard a come in signaling she could enter.
" Hey freckles" Blue said softly while crawling on his bed.
" Hey Blue" he responded.
" whats up? Why are you up? "
"I'm not so tired, i guess fighting zombies gives me energy" she said giggling.
" haha, well are you going to keep me up?" He questioned.
" maybe i am, unless you want me to go?
" strangely i want you to say" he said smiling.
As he smiled at her Blue's attention was caught on his purple eyes.
" you have two different colored eyes" she said leaning into him.
" yeah, my mother had two different colored eyes also" he said whispering looking at her.
" they're beautiful" she whispered.
she slowly put her hand on his cheeks where scattered freckles layed on his skin.
" I've always wanted freckles" she said focusing on them.
Feeling like they both belonged so close, Blue had a sudden feeling of warmth.
" uhm i'm kinda thirsty"
" do you want me to get you a drink?"
" no, its okay i'll go" she slowly moved away from him and made her way to the kitchen where she stumbled upon Rin and Haru.
" thank you so much Rin!" Blue smiled seeing the two making up.
Before she could continue she realized Haru began to lean in. She stood in her place and observed.
Haru looked at Rin and and softly kissed her on the cheek. In return earning a flick in the nose by Rin.
" Hey! We just became friends" she said loudly while blushing.
" sorry! sorry!" He chuckled.
Blue couldn't help but face palm and sigh thinking how oblivious Rin was.
Later in the night the two leaders took shift together.
" so babe how's your night so far" Bernón asked.
" babe is getting old you know " she said laughing.
" come on you like it" he asked honestly.
" sure i do Bernón "
" so tell me about you" Bernón started.
" Why is it you always want to know about me ? "
" because you're interesting"
" so what am i a science experience" she smirked.
" no you're, you know, fun to be around"
" wow you're too kind!"
" jokes"
"I've got many"
" so tell me" he said landing a hand on her thigh. She knew exactly what game he was playing and she knew how to play it better.
" what do you want to know" she said leaning in.
" everything"
" well my name is Dust K. Namue " she said biting her lip.
"I like forests , and caves and when their is no threat" she said inches from his lips.
She began to close her eyes and stopped before kissing him only to retrieve.
" so tell me about you" she said chuckling.
The next morning they all woke up to the smell of breakfast, they all walked to the smell that made them ache for a good meal.
"Morning sleeping beauty's" the red head laughed as she plated meals for her team.
As they all ate away, talking like if life was at its finest, they all forget the existence of zombies and enjoying each other's company. The group was pulled from their meals as something caught Rin's attention.
" hey guys"
" what happened Rin?"
" there is something at the door " she whispered.
Everyone quickly grabbed the nearest weapon preparing to fight.
Bernón taking the leadership role stood to the side of the door ready to open it and reveal what was behind. Flinging the door open he came face to face with a tall man, clearly not a zombie with light brown hair.
Having a clear shot of the mystery man , Bernón realized he had a rifle in his hand. His reflexes reacted quickly by kicking the gun which landed swiftly in the bush. The man quickly counteracted by high kicking Bernón in the stomach cause him to grunt.
Bernón strikes for the face throwing a punch landing on his lower face. The mystery man tried to knee him in the stomach when Raiden caught him by surprise, he aimed the gun at his head.
" hey.  I didn't come here for trouble! This dude kicked my gun in the first place!" The man spoke.
" well he isn't wrong " Blue whispered.
" yeah well you had a gun!" Bernón yelled.
" yeah! In the middle of a zombie apocalypse!" He exclaimed.
" oops"
" sorry"
" dang it Bernón"
" look I'm sorry but i was just looking for a place to stay and i came across this house" the man continued.
" no its alright, would you like to join us?" Dust asked.
" hey we hardly know him" Bernón questioned.
" yeah well he isn't a zombie and he needs help" Dust convinced the group. They all agreed to let him in their group.
" thank you and by the way my name is Sebastian.
" Tell us about yourself "
"Ugh well im alone in the middle of an apocalypse"
" yeah we know " Autumn laughed.
