Escaping The Apocalypse

Hotel

     The car ride had seemed more silent than the gang was used to. It appeared as if they always ended up in the car, as if they were always in search for something, and they didn't know what. The noise of the motor dragging on as everyone tried to make the time go by faster.
Bernón felt exhausted, his muscles aching from the exertion the last battle had done to his body, led him to ask Raiden if he could take the seat as the driver. Dust chose to sit with him in the back which allowed Blue to take her usual seat with Raiden. During the car ride the tram held a sharp eye in search for their next temporary home for the night.
" Do you think there will ever be a end to all of this madness?" Serefina asked directing her gaze to Kai.
" What? The apocalypse?"
" Yeah, i mean do you think it will ever just end? " She wondered.
" You know i do. It can't last forever right, " Kai responded as he chuckled, lightly shaking his head from side to side.
Serefina responded by lightly punching him in the shoulder, her hand curled into a tight ball as it pushed forcibly against his right shoulder, earning a smirk from Kai that curved up the corners of his lips.
" There will be an end. Maybe not today and shoot maybe not even tomorrow, but I promise you it will end." Kai replied with confidence, staring at her directly in the eyes, easing Serefina's anxiety that urged to bubble out.
Meanwhile, Sebastian and Autumn had kept there conversation to a limit, yet couldn't help but give each other glances.
Haru slept throughout the ride creating a cushion for himself on Rin's shoulder, earning a heavy sigh from Rin. Bernón also slept along with Dust but the pair cuddled into each others arms instead. Their arms wrapped around each other, not letting go. Meanwhile, Blue looked out the window, viewing all of the trees that passed by, keeping Raiden company.
"So, where is this car ride going to take us next? " she wondered as giggles erupted from her soft, blood red lips.
" Anywhere." The freckled boy responded turning to look at Blue before turning back to face the road.
" Im feeling a little adventurous..." Blue responded bitting her lower lip, a bite si hard that almost drew blood.
" Over there!" She yelled causing a few pasengers to wince from the impact of her voice.
" love you and all Blue , but please shut up" Dust said while pulling Bernón in closer, nuzzling her neck into the nook of his shoulder, breathing deeply.
" over there, look a hotel " she continued while lowering the volume of her voice.
Raiden moved his gaze to a hotel that seemed to be abandoned.
" Well lets make our way and check in" Raiden responded while turning the car to exit the freeway.
As they made their way closer to the hotel due to the sun setting, the place looked as if its original form was beautiful.
The place was decorated with palm trees and a beach laid behind the building, which only called the team in. The building appeared as though it had not been affected by the apocalypse, as though time stood still for the hotel, with its youthfully glow. Raiden quickly parked the car in the designated area. Swerving his car from left to right, until he pulled into the exact spot.
" Wakey wakey guys!" Blue started turning herself to look at the group.
Tired eyes made their way to look at Blue.
" Where are we?" Haru asked while he stretched out his limbs one by one.
" Are we home yet " Bernón asked while yawning, still waking up from the state of sleep he was in.
" Our temporary home, yeah sure, we are" Blue said giggling, clapping her hands wildly as she grabbed the handle of the car door and exited the car.
As the group made their way out of the car they all brought their gaze towards the tall building. Their gazes sweeping across the entirety of the building. They all stood in awe as they looked over the hotel.
" Lets see what kind of trouble we'll find here." Dust laughed softly as she walked forward hand in hand, pulling Bernón with her. As the group entered through the revolving doors the lobby welcomed them in with its fine designs and articulate detail. Each layer of fabric greeted them with vibrant, elegant covers. To some of the team the hotel was the most expensive thing they had ever seen. Granite floors underneath their feet with marble pillars emerging from the floor to ceiling. The lobby's chandelier hanged from the high ceiling, its stairs twisted up towards two glass doors that shun the bright light from the sun directly into the building.
" Well shit." Dust whispered, astonished by the hotels beauty.
" Wow, its beautiful here" Serefina continued as she walked in towards the front desk, her eyes glazed over with awe.
" Well it looks like there is enough rooms for us all." Sebastian mentioned pointing toward the keys that hung clumped, dangling from the cork board.
" We should still pair up, we don't know who or what is in here" Kai mentioned.
" Kai's right, i'll take Bernón if that cool with everyone? Okay, then bye. Oh and stay on the same floor guys! " Dust mentioned before running to grab a key and pulling Bernón by the hand to the direction of the stairs, which he responded by waving goodbye to the group.
" Kai would you mind bunking with me? I would feel a lot more safe." Serefina asked, looking down at the floor, not daring to gaze up at his eyes.
" yeah, of course lets go" he replied.
Rin had realized that the only people left were three girls and three guys so she quickly running towards Autumn, exasperated.
" i'll bunk with Autumn and blue" she quickly blurted.
" I can get a room by myself " Sebastian mentioned.
" No you two bunk together, i can bunk with freckles " Blue mentioned, suggesting Sebastian and Haru should share a room.
Raiden quickly turned to face her while blushing.
" Are you sure Blue? You can bunk with the girls if you'd like" he asked frantically, his heart beating a mile a minute.
" No it's fine, come on lets go find our room," she laughed pulling Raiden by his hand.
" Well we should go get our room too " Autumn mentioned.
" Yeah lets go. See you two later." Rin replied turning to grab her key to leave to her room before being stopped by Haru.
" Hey can we talk later?" Haru asked.
Rin simply nodded and continued. She followed Autumn who was halfway up the stairs. As they entered the glass doors the air quickly cleared.
" Wow Rin, give the boy a chance!" Autumn laughed, shaking her head slightly.
" What do you mean?"
" Come on girl, he likes you! He's confessed it, goddamn! Why won't you allow yourself to be happy? I know you like him."Autumn wondered.
" It's complicated." She replied quickly, not wanting to give anything away.
" Honey, you're making it harder than it needs to be. "
" I just think i need some time you know. " Rin stated.
" Well times are iffy now. We don't know where this ride is taking us. All I'm saying is, just do it!" She laughed, shaking her arms wildly around her to emphasize her point.
" We don't know how things here are going to do down"
" Okay, I'll think about it." she replied ending the conversation, wanting it to be over.
" Well this is us" Autumn mentioned their room. She inserted the key into the lock and opened the door to see a living room.
" Wow what i would have done to be in this place before the apocalypse," she stated, placing her hands on her hips as moved into the room.
The place was bigger than both have ever experienced. It was decorated and although the apocalypse didn't make it look as flattering, they both were astonished.
" Wow!" Autumn looked around in awe.
Rin quickly put her backpack on the table and looked throughout the living room.
" This place would have been a blast back then," chuckling to herself.
" We should go look around and see what this place has to offer " Rin replied.
" Yeah sure, im just going to change into new shorts and see if there isn't any water supply" Autumn stated.
" Okay, see you in a bit" Rin exclaimed before reaching for the door and exiting.
Autumn looked through her bag piering for a shirt that would make her seem cleaner. She desperately needed a shower, so she began to look for anything. With no luck she realized there was no water, besides the beach to bathe in. Instead she decided to change shirts and to have to just deal with it. Moving to undress, she quickly peeled off her shirt lifting it from her head and throwing it on the bed. She unbuttoned her pants and pulled down the zipper, pushing her shorts to the floor, stepping out of them and kicking them to the side. She settled with using her old shirt and some water from her bottle in order to clean her face.
Only clad in her bra and underwear she focused on the task at hand. Focusing on cleaning her face she didn't hear the faint knock of knuckles that rapped at the door. Before she realized Sebastian had entered through the door.
" Sebastian get out!" She yelled trying to cover herself up, searching for something to cover herself up, but only coming up with her arms and hands.
" Oh my god! Autumn im so sorry! I just wanted to see if you wanted to hang out!" He replied quickly his eyes sweeping over bra clad body before covering his eyes and chucking slightly.
" It's not funny you creep!" she shrieked, throwing a pillow at him, missing.
Sebastian removed his hands from his eyes and began walking towards her.
" Nothing to be ashamed of " he replied smoothly while chuckling to himself.
" I'm joking sorry," he uttered softly, "ill leave" he started, but quickly instead grabbed her and pinned her hands above her head. Knocking the breath out of her.
" We've been in this position before haven't we baby girl " Sebastian drawled out, arousal tinting his voice.
" yeah and last time this happened I punched you straight in the jaw and i wont hesitate to do it again pretty boy" she warned, turning her head to the side slightly.
" And don't call me baby girl!" She muttered under her breath, her breathing coming out in short, shallow puffs, earning a chuckle from Sebastian.
" Wow, I'm pretty? Really?" He teased, batting his eyelashes quickly as a joking matter.
" Let go of me"
" Make me"
" you know i crave you" Sebastian announced bluntly which only caught Autumn by surprise.
" I'm not you're toy Sebastian, neither am i yours" she stated bluntly also, gathering her courage to stand her ground.
" trust me, i know" he replied, bitterly.
" Then what is this? This game you're playing?" She asked genuinely, exasperated.
Sebastian couldn't think of an answer, his eyes too caught in the gaze of her lips. He memorized the detail of each supple curve begging to be caressed. His insides burning aflame. Instead of answering, he slowly leaned into her. Their lips touched, the slightest of touches, simply grazing yet it seemed to drive both of them crazy. He closed his eyes focusing on not kissing her, although he himself knew he wanted to. She simply waited for his lips to crash on hers. Her body limp against his, waiting for his next move. Feeling like years went by her body seemed to betray her, swiftly she raised herself and pressed her lips mote forcefully against his.
Their lips moved in sync. As if they were fish out of water craving air they continued to find each other in one another. Her hands moved to his hair, combing her fingers through each lock of hair, unsure of where to move them around not sure what she was searching for. Finally, landing her fingers at the nape of his neck, tugging the curls there slightly.
Sebastian's tongue grazed over the bottom of her lip, asking for entrance into the depths of her warm mouth. She granted by opening her mouth and allowing his tongue to plunder inside her mouth. Their tongues at first sliding over the other, but then soon building up by having the battle for dominance. Autumn bit down on the bottom of his lip gently, then sucking it into her mouth to soothe the bite.
His hands snaked around her waist and in a snap he lifted her up, sliding her up the wall and landed her on his lower waist, her legs wrapping around there tightly as their mouths moved in rhythm. With all the bravery he can muster up his hand grazes over the bra clad breast, his hand slightly kneading into the fabric covered flesh. " shit" Sebastian blurted. He quickly untied her legs from around his waist and as Autumn slid down the length if the wall and landed on the floor as he stepped away from her.
" Oh my god I'm not wearing clothes!" Autumn came to a realization.
The knock continued followed by a voice.
" Hey Autumn you done yet? " Rin asked.
" Yeah! Im just changing! I'll meet you in a few!" Autumn replied as she tossed her shirt over her head, pulling it down swiftly to cover herself. She searched on the ground for her shorts and spotted them, quickly tugging them on and zipping them up,
" Okay see you at the lobby" Rin replied.
With Rin gone, Sebastian and Autumn could simply only stare in confusion. Confusion about their feelings and about what had just occurred.
" we should probably go" Sebastian mentioned.
" ugh yeah " Autumn replied.
They both quickly exited the room averting each others gaze, not bothering to look into each other's eyes. Meeting the group in the lobby they all averted their eyes to the two.
" Hey love we were just talking about looking around " Blue explained.
" Oh sounds fun" Autumn laughed ignoring what had just went down, her insides still squirming around.
" Alright guys go in groups, take weapons with you, and be careful" Dust commanded with great authority.
" Don't die" Bernón stated bluntly before chuckling.
The two walked away leaving the rest of the group.
Autumn couldn't look at Sebastian so she quickly decided to leave.
" Hey guys i really want to see if we can find some food! Or supplies," she stated before leaving desperately.
" Uhm im going to look around" Sebastian said leaving the opposite direction.
" well those two are acting weird." Kai noticed as he watched both of their fading forms. He turned back to the group saying, "Anyways Serefina and i are just going to look around." Before bringing Serefina with him.
" Well lets go freckles! Lets go have some fun!" Blue hopped off the counter and linked arms with Raiden disappearing into the hotel.
" Just you and me Rin" Haru laughed.
" yeah me and you" Rin smiled.
Rin and Haru stayed their looking at each other not really knowing where to start.
" there's a beach behind the hotel. Do you maybe want to go?" Rin asked.
" yeah! I mean yes!" Haru laughed causing his eyes to squint.
Rin responded with a slight smile. They both exited the building and made their way towards the beach, Rin leaving some space between them as they headed towards the right direction. Haru quickly slipped off his shoes and socks and stepped onto the sand warmed from the sun, causing a smile to splat on his face.
" Come on rin!"
Observing Haru, Rin couldn't help but feel the happiest when she was with him. She shook her head, a small smile forming on her mouth.
She felt her face turn warm and her stomach feel a sensation she had never felt before. Looking at Haru she couldn't imagine living the rest of her life without him. Haru turned around to face Rin.
"You look cute when you smile" Haru giggled.
Rin couldn't contain her laugh, instead she walked onto the beach, moving towards the sea. Once the two had made their ways near the sea they both looked at each other not sure what came next.
" Let's go in!" Haru said.
" What? But there are no showers and it's freezing!?" Rin exclaimed. Before she could realize Haru had removed his shirt and had tossed it to the ground next to his shoes. He removed his jeans leaving him in boxer shorts.
" You're naked!" Rin quickly squeaked while panicking to cover her eyes. Her cheeks had began to burn and turned a bright pink.
" They're shorts! Come on Rin! Lets have some fun!"
Rin slowly took her hands away from her eyes, but quickly found their way to Haru's shoulders. She stared in awe thinking he was sculpted by gods, his muscles bulging out, carved to perfection.
" I forgot to bring extra clothes! How am I supposed to get in with jeans" Rin asked.
" I got you, I brought you a t-shirt and some shorts" Haru laughed.
" when did you get these!" Rin asked confused.
" Well i had to plan this out, especially fot you" he chuckled, staring directly in her eyes.
Rin slowly took off her shirt leaving her in a bra and quickly changed into the over sized t-shirt. Then changed from her jeans into her shorts.
" Okay lets go" they both made their way towards the water.
" Oh my god its cold!" Rin yelped.
Haru quickly splashed the water causing it to land on Rin. Rin laughed and splashed back, they continued to play around until they came to a stop. Haru looked at Rin mesmerized by her beauty.
" You're eyes are beautiful " he whispered as he tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
" You're beautiful " he continued before smirking, cheekily.
" Stop being so cheesy" Rin laughed, her breath caught in her throat.
" Let's go back to the hotel " Haru smirked, as he tossed his arm over her shoulder, maneuvering them back to the shore.
Meanwhile Raiden and Blue had decided to explore. The two had made their way throughout the hotel and stumbled upon a lounge with a bar.
" You know, I'm afraid " Blue started.
" Of what?" Raiden asked as they both sat in the bar's stools, leaning forward on the bar.
" That I'm going to spend the rest of my life fighting zombies," she responded honestly. Raiden stood not knowing how to respond. He too didn't know when the apocalypse would end.
" Hey," he replied wanting to lift the tension, "if you spend the rest of your life killing zombies at least I'll be there killing them with you" he responded grinning ear to ear.
" yeah you better be there freckles!" She replied laughing.
" Hey, you gave me a nickname yet i don't have one for you!" Raiden mentioned.
" Well then give me one freckles"
" ugh how about sunshine!"
" ew"
" honey?"
" seriously?"
" how about bangs?" Raiden asked genuinely which earned a chuckle from Blue.
" Bangs? Seriously freckles?"
" hey thats the best i could do!"
" well i guess its freckles and bangs" she replied punching him lightly on the shoulder, her lips curling into a smile.
" what a pair!" He joked.
They both were enjoying themselves like they mostly would. They had created a bond and connection, that both didn't know what to classify it as.
" What did you want to do with your life? You know if the apocalypse didn't happen?" Raiden asked.
" I don't think I even had a life before the apocalypse. Neither would i have one if it didn't happen" she started honestly.
" to be honest my parents would have probably decided what to do for me or worse would have killed me before I even could decide "
" Yeah, but what did you want to do?" Raiden asked.
" Be happy? Yeah i know so cliche, but its what I wanted. "
" super cliche " he laughed.
" hey!"
" I'm kidding kiddo, i think its great that you wanted to be happy, many people focus on doing something that they forgot to ask themselves if they'd be happy doing it"
" what did you want to do freckles?" Blue asked wondering.
" you know i don't really know"
" we're both clueless "
" you can say that again " they both laughed.
" you're eyes will be the death of me" Blue smirked as she played with Raiden's hair, staring deeply into his eyes.
" you know your children would be the luckiest kids to have eyes like that! " Blue continued mentioning Raiden's two colored eyes.
" haha, children? I would be lucky if I even get a wife!" He laughed.
" you will freckles and she will be one lucky girl" she smiled.
They both felt as if they always ended up in the same situation. Always ending in both wanting more out of each other but not knowing what they needed. 
Blue's hand still in Raiden's hair she slowly brought it down from his head, she slowly moved it past his neck and brought it back up to lightly touch his cheek.
Raiden without hesitation brought his hand to land softly on her exposed thigh, causing Blue's breath to catch in her throat. His eyes couldn't contain themselves but to look down to Blue's bright red lips and flicking back to her eyes as if asking for approval. As if both their bodies were ahead of their minds, Raiden's other hand snaked around Blue's waist. Blue's eyes closed shut waiting for what came next. Raiden's hand came to cup her face only to brush his fingers on her lips lightly curving over her top lip before ultimately retrieving due to a loud noise that startled them both.
" what was that?" Blue asked.
" i have no idea" Raiden replied.
Blue swiftly took one of her knives from her collection ready to attack whatever created the sound. She stood back to back against the wall with Raiden, they both waited to see what would walk past.
Both ready to attack were startled to see it was only Autumn.
" Guys! It's me! " Autumn yelled as Blue held the knife in her hand.
Meanwhile when the two leaders left the group they made their way towards the exit of the Hotel only to find themselves near the car.
" Well what are we going to do" Dust asked as she walked hand in hand with Bernón.
" anything you want babe the world is your canvas! " Bernón laughed as he kissed her hair.
" wow so poetic!" Dust smirks as she let his hand go and turned to face him.
" I've been told i'm a romantic " he whispered in her ear, then winked at her.
" really? Well then why don't you show me how romantic you really are" she whispered back.
" Do you want me to sing to you or something? Buy you a hundred roses? I got you babe, anything and everything you want love" he chuckled.
" Tell me you love me" she responded bluntly which caught Bernón by surprise only making him not know how to respond to Dust.
" Dust," he looked around searching for the right words to say.
" I dont... I dont think im ready to say those words" was all he could manage to say.
" Bernón we don't know how long we've got" Dust responded.
" let me ask you Dust, are you in love with me?" He asked genuinely, staring intently, gaging for her answer.
" I am. I love you Bernón" She responded as a matter of factly.
" How do you even know if its love?" He asked shocked.
" Because i can feel it. I feel it in my heart" Dust continued.
" and i know you're in love with me, but you're scared"
" its crazy! I mean i always chase girls! They never chase me!" He confessed.
" And I'm always chased! I don't chase after guys!" She responded.
" maybe thats why I'm crazy in love with you" Dust continued.
In a blink of an eye Bernón slowly moved closer to Dust pushing her back against the car. The length of his entire body pressed against him.
" I love you Dust. And yes I'm scared, I'm fricken scared that I'll lose you! But I do love you" He confessed.
"Bernón no matter where I am. I am yours" she replied before crashing her lips into his. Her hands as if second nature pulled at his hair. Tugging at each tuft hair that came from his head. His tongue traced across her bottom lip as if asking for permission which she quickly gave him. The kiss had took a turn as their breaths became rigid as they began to become hungry for one another. Bernón's hands traveled down Dust's waist, his finger tips caressing her over her clothing, earning a low moan to escape from Dust's lips.
