[Artemis]

Artemis finished typing an email towards a fellow "colleague", as it was all her really could do before the headache completely blocked out most of his thinking process. In order not to ruin his reputation of pristine, highly intelligent emails and responses, he stopped his attempt to work. He made a note to self, never to wait so long to feed again, Artemis couldn't stand to feel like this ever again. He felt like a child who had the stomach flu-- but it's not like he could ever have the stomach flu, as pureblooded vampires can't get sick-- and his mother hasn't gotten his medication yet. Hopefully Dom would get here soon, or he'd lose his mind forever.

Not literally, but at this point Artemis could see it as a possibility, being as he is a Fledging right now. If he didn't get his proper meals, then he could in fact damage his mind-- something completely unacceptable-- and maybe his mother would try to smother him like a normal child. Oh god, the thought alone is terrible enough. The presents she'd give me, the "goodnight kisses", the skin contact! Artemis shivered uncomfortably and stood up, his black hair no longer perfectly slicked back. Subconsciously, he must have ran his fingers through his hair a few times while trying to keep his thinking process.

How lovely, Artemis thought, annoyed by himself. What's wrong with you? Next you're going to be falling in love or acting like a normal child. Artemis Fowl the Second could never be a normal child, and not only because of his bloodline. He was far too intelligent to be a normal child by any standards, as every time his mother tried to get him a tutor for simple things-- dance lessons, cooking, and basic dining standards-- he would make the tutor quit their job by the second day, the first day if he cared enough.

Ah, I shouldn't take so much joy out of ruining people's careers but if they aren't intelligent, them they shouldn't be teachers. Artemis thought as the vampiric smile appeared on his lips, slightly entertained with the old, flabbergasted expressions of the adults when he proved them wrong with everything they say. His eyes lingered towards the mirror his mother put in there, claiming that he should pay attention to how he's treating his body as well. She said something along the lines of: "Arty, despite your pale skin, you could be a handsome young man. But if you keep abusing your body by not feeding and looking yourself inside all day is not going to help you!"

Artemis shook his head and looked away from the mirror, rubbing his eyes. He stood up slowly and headed off to his room, vampires sleep recreationally as the only thing they truly need is blood to eat. Even then, they can last a lot longer than humans if they aren't Fledgings. Speaking of which, what is taking Butler so long?

He better hurry up, or I'm going go crazy from lack of blood. Artemis paused and sighed. Crazy? I can use more sophisticated words than that, I'm truly going mad.

It was late enough for the light to slow appear out in the sky when Artemis heard the faint knocking on his door that most likely belong to Dom. He glanced at the door and sat up, Artemis could only presume that his eyes turned silver now from blood starvation. His blood was boiling from hunger, so Artemis didn't wait any longer for Dom to come in with his next meal.

"Come in!"

Dom opened up the door quietly so it didn't creak too loud and disrupt Angeline and Artemis Fowl Senior from their slumber. His stature was still strong but his eyes shown tiredness. It must be about Juliet, Artemis has known for some time that she was seeing someone behind everyone's back, perhaps Dom has finally found out? Or is there a chance that he felt... guilty for retrieving this Human Cattle? That would definitely be first for Dom, since he usually doesn't blink an eye at this as it his job and has been since Artemis was a baby.

"Your Human Cattle today might be a little... difficult, to say the least, she was the feisty type but I doubt she'll struggle against you too much. As you are Artemis Fowl the II." Dom told Artemis, as he nodded in agreement, not really caring about the details at the moment. "Her name is H--"

"Yes, Butler-- Domovoi-- I understand, I apologize for interrupting you but I really need to eat. Now, if possible, so can you please bring her in?" Artemis said to him, licking his teeth hungrily as the thought of feeding was enough to get his blood pumping. Dom nodded and turned to go retrieve her.

Holly Short was sitting in the kitchen angrily, mentally cursing as she tried to untie the rope from behind her but couldn't. She was conveniently gagged as well, so she couldn't yell out for anyone. If Holly wasn't so worried about how strong this man may truly be, she would be plotting a way to get revenge. Right now, all she wanted to do was to escape this damned manor and hopefully never have to return or not. But currently she had no idea if she would have that chance, she was told that she was going to his "charge's" meal.

The worst part of all, though, was that the rope was digging into her wrists every time she slightly adjusted her body weight. Who knows how long she's going to have rope burn around her waists, and of course Commander Root would definitely not be impressed. Getting kidnapped after apparently "messing up" missing is not a good streak to have, especially if Holly isn't liked by a lot of the LEP anyway. At least, she isn't liked by the sexist people, Trouble and the others are pretty nice to her. Chix is a little too nice to her, though, he is a major player, if any word should be used to describe him.

Footsteps were heading her way, so she sighed through the gag and looked at the entrance. The tall figure entered with a completely shaven head and palish skin, he doesn't look like the type of person who would be people so it has to be another cause. He grabbed Holly and lifted her up with her arms, a muffled pained noise left her lips as she struggled in vain in his grasp. Bastard, let me go! Holly silently yelled, trying to kick him with any strength she could muster up right now.

"Why are you struggling right now?" He asked Holly, lifting her up to eye level. "You must accept your fate right now, because my principal is rather hungry and I'm not delaying his feast any longer." He told her in the coldest voice he could as she glared daggers at him.

You damned bastard, if I had my gun or even a baton... you would at least regret trying to kidnap me. She thought bitterly as he continued to carry her off to his principal's room. Not caring at all for her feelings on this, but it isn't his job to care for her, and nor will it ever be.
