Five: You Need Help.. I Need a Friend.

I walked into Odin's old study and closed the door behind me, I turned seeing Loki sitting in Odin's chair just didn't feel right.. He took his feet off the deesk and placed them on the floor "Why do you look so sad?"

I just stared at him "Why did you call me in here your Highness?" I said, he smiled and stood up going to a book case "Ahh, yes. I know Odin had a secret place in his study bi just forgot where the secret button or lever was."

I crossed my arms "And you just assume I would know your grace?" I said, he turned into me and smiled "Well, you did help Odin since you bwere a child.. I just figured he showed you all the tricks" he said.

I sighed and walked to the desk, moving a small statues heads aback I pressed a button and the book case moved into the wall, Loki grabbed a candle "Follow me."

I obeyed like I would have Odin and I walked behind Loki down some stairs as the case moved back into place behind us I sighed.. What can possibly go wrong here?

We walked down into a small place that had maps of all the realms, books and other things I touched a books and dust came off of it "Interesting" Look mumbled, I turned and looked at him. He was looking at the books as well.

"Is there a reason for coming down here your Highness ?" I said, he turned to look at me then wemt back to the books.i sat on the desk in the corner and just watched him, I yawned and brought my legs up on the desk so I sat on it cross cross.

He smacked a book and brought it over to the desk setting it down beside me he flipped through pages and I sighed "What are you so happy about?" I said, sounding bored. He ignored me and flipped through the book.

He stopped on a page with names written, and I jumped down off the desk so he could fold out the page some more.

"What in the name of -" he shushed me and looked at it, I did too.

"Did it ever occur to you that maybe Odin was lying about your parents death? I remember seeing this book in his study but before I could read it he came in" he told me as I looked at my name at the bottom.

Loki watched me and I looked up at him "Are you telling me that after.. All of these years my parents are probably still alive?" I said.

"One asgardian and one midgardian. Your mother died long ago on Midgard but, your feather is probably still out there."

I just looked at him "Why tell me this?"

"Because you need help and I need a friend again" he said, placing his hand on mine he nlooked back at me "I need to regain your trust somehow, I figure telling you would be a nice way to start it."

I sighed "I'm sorry. Loki, it's just. Duty before -"

"-duty before friends. I know, that's your.. Saying" he said and smiled. I sighed "How do I even find out if they are alive?" I asked.

He shrugged "Any friends of family written down?"

"No" I said as I looked at the paper.

He sighed "Your family is lucky" he told me, I looked at him and huffed.

"How lucky can they be? Their dead" i said, he cracked a smile.
