Seven: A Plan

I sat on the desk in Odin's old study as Loki looked at some papers, I tapped my fingers on the desk just to get on his nerves and he looked up "Will you please stop doing that?" He said, I smiled and stopped just so he would calm down.

Then I sighed and he looked up at me "May I help you?"

"Oh, I just figured when you said yesterday that I would be hanging out with you it would be more than.. Just hanging out in a study and silence" I said and he just looked down at his papers "I man, it's boring!"

He laid down his pen and looked up at me "Then what do you do nowadays? Hmm. Put prisoners in a cell and turn your back on them?" He said it and it felt like a slap to the face.

I jumped off the desk "If you will excuse me your Highness I need to go check on some things" I said blankly, as I turned to go he grabbed my wrist making me stop, I turned halfway to look at him.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to come out like that" he said. I smiled at him before pulling my wrist away ",It's fine.. I need to make sure Fandral and Hogun are not fighting" I said, and walked out.

I walked through the gardens making my route to the practice grounds long, I sighed as I touched a rose and the color changed from white to red. Sometimes I think Frigga's soul or whatever came to these gardens, it was her place.

I sat down on a bench to waste time and looked at the beautiful flowers I was surrounded by, I breathed in the smell of the garden Why does this clear my mind? I mean, I am te Goddess of Moon and Shadows.

I slowly stand and walk on towards the practice grounds.

As I approached I saw Sif on the ground and she kicked Fandral's feet out from under him, she stood up and put her boot on his neck "Give?"

"Give" he said, she took her boot away and looked towards me "I knew you would show up" she said, I smiled and leaned on the wall "Of course I always do. Fandral, next time you should grab her ankle and swing it around quickly stand up and put a dsagger at her neck."

"Oh, but I would have if she had been the enemy" he said, Volstagg laughed at that.

I rolled my eyes as a guard came running to us "Thieves just raided two shops in the town" he called, we all five started forward when I saw Loki from the corner of my eyes he was motioning me over, I rolled my eyes and looked at them.

"Go on, you don't need me to hold your hand" I said, Sif smiled and they all went quickly towards the town.

I turned direction and walked straight up to Loki "What do you need now?"

He smirked "A simple Hello wpouod do just as great Sabby" he said as he begun to walk, I followed and held out my arms.

"Okay, hello Loki now what is it?"

He sighed "We have a assignment. It seems someone has stolen the Spellbreaker Sword" he said, and looked at me from the corner of his eye "I assume you know what that is right?"

I rolled my eyes "Its a Asgardian sword which can undo any sort of Asgardian magic" I said in a duh tone, he cracked a smiled "Why would someone want to steal that I wonder?" I said, mostly to myself but, Loki decided to answer.

"I dont know. Maybe they wanted to undo a spell that was put upon them?"

I looked up at him "Well, how do you plan on getting it back, King Loki?" I said, he stripped which made me stop and he looked around. He smiled down at me "Sabella, be my date to a dance on the outside of the town tonight?"

I crossed my arms "The Spellbreaker is stolen and your wanting to dance?"

"Yes, but what if the certain said sword is at this dance?"

I thought for a second "Keep talking" I said as we walked on down the hallway. I crossed my arms waiting for him to speak.

"Well, if my hunch is correct the person who I think stole it will be at this said dance and I will take back what belongs in the palace" he said, I smiled and looked up at him.

"Caring for your kingdom, your grace?"

He looked down at me "There is only one thing in this kingdom I care for, Sabella, and it isn't the throne" he said, then turned on his heel walking towards the throne room.

I just stood there wondering what he cared fore more than his throne.
