I sat lazily in the train. All I can think about is her. I just can't get her out of my mind. My tributes looked a bit weak this year. Mags sat adjacent to me.

"Should we watch the other reapings?" I asked.

Bohemian Royal

I felt my stomach plummet . Puma turned to look at me. I could feel the bile rise in my throat.

Jax walked up on stage. Pumpkin finished off the reaping. But before we walked off stage I said "Any volunteers?" my voice practically wasn't there.

Nobody moved a muscle. I felt dead.

Puma pulled me away. He picked me up once we were inside the Justice building, and he carried me bridal style to the train. He put me in the room and I got sick. I got sick until I couldn't anymore.

When I finally walked out I saw Jax and I jumped on him, wrapping my arms around him. I can't let him die.

He tightened his grip around me "Bo, please don't make this harder than it is already. Please"

"Jax, you are my twin brother. I have to make this harder than it is"

He glared at me "You act like I'm gonna die. You won at thirteen, what makes you think I'm gonna lose at eighteen."

"Jax. I have seen kids walk on this train and never come home. Kids bigger than you. Kids smaller than you. Kids smarter than you. You cannot be so sure of yourself. That's what gets people killed." I said coldly.

I let go of him and started talking to the girl with the fox face.

When the train finally stopped, Jax and the girl turned their charm on. Or tried to at least.

I walked inside the building, watching my tributes get sent to stylists. Puma looked at me "I know that this is hard but you have to stay strong for him."

I shook my head "I can't lose him. It will be like Jonic all over again. If Jaxton dies then my mother will hate me for letting her son-my brother-die. I won't be the same. He is my twin, that's a bond that cannot be broken."

I felt the tears well up in my eyes. Puma hugged me tightly. I didn't let the tears out. I haven't cried in six years. I haven't cried since we lost Jonic. He was only fourteen. He was so young. Too young. I forced the tears back and pulled back.

"Puma if he does die..."

Puma shook his head, he looked almost exactly like Haymitch Abernathy, long blonde hair getting in his face, "We will not let him die. You are three things, a mentor, a victor, and a trainer. You can teach more than I can."

I sighed "Puma, he doesn't want to learn from me! Didn't you see on the train? He hates me as much as he loves me."

Puma frowned "Seriously? Then he's practically dead already!"

My bottom lip quivered, I heard a loud shout behind me. Probably because they're getting waxed. I, however, was cosmetically altered to have no hair on my body. It's kind of weird.

Puma raised an eyebrow "Well they seem to be having fun. Lets go to our room." We walked over to the elevators, I pressed the up button.

We stepped inside and he pressed the glowing number five. The elevator went up and we went to our room.
