Bohemian Royal

The private sessions went well, Jax scored a seven.
Strangely enough the girl from District Twelve got an eleven. How can that be? She is from an outer district, a starving, weak district.

I sighed, feeling my lovely prep team swipe makeup onto my eyelids.
Today I mentored the tributes, Puma do too and so did Pumpkin.

Sirbia walked in, holding a lovely dress.
"Red is your color, my dear Royal. But nothing will match the beauty of this white." She said, holding the dress up.

It was, indeed, a gorgeous dress.
It had straps and went down to the floor, except there was a cut from about mid thigh down right between my legs.
She helped me in it, then she put a pair of black suede ankle booties on the floor.
Then, after I put on the shoes, she reached around my neck, clasping my necklace.

I sighed, my fingers tracing the black ink on my forearms. I have found myself doing that lately.

Sirbia cupped my face, "He will live."

I nodded, "He will try to." I whispered back.

She lead me out of the room, Jax had on a smooth blue tux and Red had a short blue dress on.

Puma was wearing a white suit.
"We match. . . Except you, my dear Bohemian Royal, wear white better than everyone in all of Panem." he said, smiling widely at me.

Pumpkin rushed out, primping his hair as he did so. He also had on white.

"We shall be late if we do not leave now!" His Capitol accent seemed even more annoying at this moment than ever before.

I soon found myself standing next to Jax, in line.

"Jax you just have to remember that they are good for you. These people, you must impress them. You need sponsors to win. Be yourself, that's what I did." I said, my hands were gripping the sleeves on his blue suit jacket.

"Bohemian I need to tell you something. It's really important and I know this is probably a extremely bad time to say it but just lets talk sibling to sibling. Twin to twin." He said, gripping my shoulders and looking me in the eye.

"Um, er, alright. What do you need to tell me?" I asked.

"You are an aunt."

I blinked "Will you repeat that? I am pretty sure I heard you wrong."

"You are an aunt. I am a father. I have a son. You have a nephew."

I felt like I was choking.
"How long have you been hiding this from me?" I whispered, staring at the floor.

"Two and a half years."

My head snapped up.
"That long? Who is the mother?" I asked, angry now.

He shook his head "She died giving birth, mother has been taking care of him. I didn't want you to know because-"

"Because what? Do you not trust me? Do you think I'm going to do something bad? Do you know that by keeping this a secret for this long you made telling me this worse? Are you only telling me this because you think you're gonna die?"

He shook his head "I am going to die Bohemian. Just except it. I have and now you have to."

I shook my head, suddenly feeling another pair of eyes on me.
"No. No. No nonononononono. No! No Jax no! You can not do this to me! Your the one that's supposed to knock sense into me and be the smart one not the other way around! How could you not tell me? How could you be stupid enough to get a girl pregnant when you know you could have been reaped? Jax do you realize how much more pressure there is on me now?" I said, pushing his chest lightly.

He shook his head.

"Well let me enlighten you. I have to keep you alive for our mother, I have to keep you alive for Jonah, I have to keep you alive for your kid. " I felt tears well into my eyes "I have to keep you alive for me. "

"I'm sorry Bo-"

I cut him off "No. Don't speak to me. You've ruined all hope I used to have for you."

His face flooded with hurt.

"What is going on?" I heard Puma say

"None of your fucking business Puma." I snapped.

"You're almost in tears, this is my business. What the hell is going on?" he asked, grabbing my elbow.

"Let her go Puma"

I looked up to see Finnick standing there in all his District Four glory.

"I need her to tell me what's going on." Puma said, letting my elbow go.

"I am" I gulped "An aunt."
