CHAPTER ONE- A Tragic Past.

It has been a week since Haley and Jay were home from the hospital. They were still sore and aching. Although Haley was injured she still insisted on doing the concert that night. “We have to do it. We can’t let out fans down. They would be upset if we didn’t show up.” Haley said arguing. “I’m sorry babe, but no. They will understand why we aren’t doing the show. We are both sore and still need healing time. It is no big deal, we can always do the show another time, okay?” Jay bickered back. “Ah. Fine. Jay. I guess this one time we can miss it...” She said disappointed. Haley hated to upset her fans. She really didn’t want to postpone the show but she knew Jay was right and had to. She was sore and tired. Sleep was the best thing she could do right now. It was late. Around 12:00 a.m. everyone in their houses were sleeping, except for Tom. He was still over-whelmed with what happened with Haley and Jay that lately he has been trouble sleeping. Tom was happy they were both alive and okay but he still just could not believe they could of died. Just then he heard someone get up. “Hey what are you doing up? It’s late and you need your sleep.” He heard someone say. He turned around and saw it was Tianna. She was rubbing her eyes and looked tired, but curious. “ Good morning sleepyhead. I’m sorry I can’t sleep. I’m tired but wide awake at the same time. As if that makes any sense at all.” He said in a casual tone. “Get over here. Will you at least lay down and try to go to bed? You look so tired. Please? I need you here beside me.” Tianna said innocently. Tom walked over and plunged himself down on the bed next to Tianna. “I’m here, I’ll try and go to sleep. But I’m mainly here because you need me. I love you. Now go back to sleep, and this time I will try too.” Tom said. Tianna laughed and laid down and right before she fell asleep she managed to get a few more words out. “I love you too, Thomas Parker.” Tom just smiled and then shut his eyes. “AHHHHHHHH” Haley screamed. She sat straight up from her bed. Her eyes were blood shot, and she was sweating. She woke Jay up, who was lying down next to her. “Calm down, are you okay? What is wrong?” Jay asked worried while hugging her for comfort. “I had a nightmare...we were being chased...again..by those guys...Oh Jay those guys are still out there somewhere probably looking for us. What if they find us? I don’t want to ever experience that again...” Haley said while shaking. Jay was scared the guys would find them too, but he would never tell Haley that. He wouldn’t let anything else ever happen to her again. “It will be okay...They aren’t going to find us. The police is going to find them shortly. Don’t worry....when it closer to hours people are actually awake I will call up the station and see if they found anything yet, okay? Just stay calm. I won’t let anything else happen to you. I love you so much, Hay. You know that.” Jay said assuring her. “...Okay Jay..Thank you..I love you too so much..” Haley said. Jay and Haley then lied back down but didn’t go to sleep. They just lied there, motionless and speechless. They were cuddling and comforting each other. They were both scared of those mysterious men out there who did this. But they both knew they could get through it together if they just kept strong and moved on.
