When your lips touch mine..

Chapter 8

It was late at night. Max, and Siva were lounging on the couch watching Nascar, while Tom and Nathan were both sound asleep. Haley was sitting on the chair thinking about Jay. She was happy with Nath but still missed Jay like crazy. She looked over at Nathan. He looked so peaceful, just laying there. He also looked happy. It was the happiest she has ever seen him. Haley was devolping strong feelings for Nathan. She hasn't seen Jay since the night she kissed Nath in front of him. 

Just then Jay walked in with Kevin and Martin. "Hey everyone." Jay said looking at everyone but Haley. Jay wanted to know what happened between the two of them. He wanted to talk to her so bad but didn't know what to say.  Jay walked over to Tianna who was sitting across from Haley on the other side of the room. "Hey Tee, can I talk to you?" He asked shyly. She nodded and walked outside with him. Haley didn't know what was up, she just figured Tianna would tell her later.

"So what do you need to talk about?" Tianna asked. Jay hesitated then began. "It's about Haley..." He started. "I don't understand what happened with her....and now she is with Nath..I want her back so bad, I miss her...but they look so happy together..." Tianna felt so bad for Jay, she could sense he still loves Haley, and she knew Haley still had feelings for him but Haley had Nathan now. This was a problem. "Okay....Well Haley still has feelings for you too...but now that she's with Nathan I don't know how you two would get back together...I think you need to talk to her and Nathan and sort things out...I'm sorry that's the best advice I can give you right now." Tianna said. Jay nodded and decided he was going to have to talk to Haley and Nathan. Jay walked away from Tianna to find Nathan and Haley. He spotted them sitting perfectly in each other's arms on the sofa. "Hey, Nath may I talk to you two for a moment?" Jay asked them nervously. Nathan nodded, him and Haley got up and followed Jay out the door so they could talk in private. "So what is this about, Jay?" Nathan said holding Haley's hand tightly. Nathan knew it was about Haley, he knew Jay wanted her back. He could see it in his eyes. But Nathan didn't want to let Haley go, he finally found someone that he truely cared for and wasn't ready to lose them. Jay began. "Well I wanted to say I'm sorry. To the both of you....especailly you, Haley..." He said only focusing on her. She looked at him in the eyes and could see he was truely sorry. "Look, I know I should have listened to you about just comforting Nathan, and I shouldn't have ran off like that, but then you kissed him right in front of me...and that hurt....but then again I guess I deserved it at the time being I was with those two girls, anyway I'm not mad, and I'm sorry." Jay finished. Haley wasn't sure what to say, she glanced over at Nathan, he had a blank facial expression on. She wanted to know what Nathan was thinking right now, but had no clue, because he was hiding all of his feelings very well. "Jay I'm sorry too, for everything, I mean I know you love Haley and all but you screwed things up a bit and I 'm sorry that I am with her now but were happy, and I don't know how you feel about that, but I hope you can be happy for us too, and I hope that we can all be friends and still go out partying together." Nathan said. Although he didn't ask Haley how she felt, Haley could tell he didn't want to because she knew Nathan didn't want to give her up to Jay. Haley really did like Nathan, and was even starting to love him, but then there was Jay. Her and Jay will always have that unspoken bond with each other, the two just seemed to understand each other completely. Jay then just turned away, he knew he wasn't getting Haley back yet, but he knew he would have her again eventually.

Tianna and Tom were sitting on the bed back at the room when Tianna's phone started to ring. "Hello?" She asked. "Hey Tianna, how are you...?" The voice said. Then Tianna realized it was her mom. She hasn't talked to her mom since Tom met her. She has been curious to when her mom would call her, because she knew her mom was going to make some comment about him. "I'm doing good, mom. What have you and dad been up to?" She asked. "Nothing...so are you still with that boy that is in the band....umm Tom?" Tianna took a breath and answered. "Yes mom. I am still with him..why?" "Because I'm not so sure your father and I approve of this boy....he seems nice but I don't know I don't think you should be this serious with a boy who is in a band. I mean he didn't even seem to care too much, it seemed like you two mainly just have sex." Her mom said. Tianna bit her lip, she knew this was coming. "Mom. Okay first thing, you don't even know him! We do not just sleep together all the time, and he does care, I know he does." Tianna said. Her mom began to argue with her, she did not want Tianna to be with Tom. Tianna got to upset she started to cry, thats when Tom saw her and grabbed the phone. "Mrs. Mack? Hi yes, this is Tom. And I would like to say I care for your daughter very much, she is my life and I would never let anything to happen to her I love her. And if you have a problem with that well it sure isn't going to change anything because I won't ever leave her." He said and then hung up. Tom se the phone down and pulled Tianna close to him. "I love you. " She said. He smiled  and kissed her forehead.

 Haley and Siva were getting ready for a gig the boys had that night. "Siva, where are the boys? Shouldn't they be getting ready too?" Haley asked. Siva laughed. "Didn't you see them an hour ago? They were apparently all ready, so they went to pick up a few things before the gig." Haley finished putting on mascara and walked out. "Oh, I see. Well let's go, I just got a text from Martin, we are supposed to meet them in front of the supermarket." Haley said holding her phone. They took a bus to the supermarket and waited there for everyone to show up. "So...how are you and Nath?" Siva asked curiously. Haley smiled. "We are doing good." "I know it is none of my business, but what are you going to do about the whole Jay situation?" He asked unsure. Haley's smile faded. "Well, Seev, I don't even know...I know that we are okay now, and that Nathan deffinately doesn't want me with him again..." Siva turned and looked at her. "Do what makes you happy. One way or another eventually someone will get hurt, but they will just have to learn to move on." He said. Haley was about to speak but just then their bus pulled up and Martin was signaling for them to hurry. They got onto the bus. Haley spotted Nathan and went over to sit next to him. Nathan smiled and she sat down. "You look beautiful." He said. Haley smiled shyly and blushed. "Come on! Let's go before we are late!" Martin said to the driver of the bus. 

They were on their way to a gig they had in Pittsburgh, and they were about an hour away. For that hour on the bus, everyone just sat around and chatted impatiently. "Are we even close to being there yet?" Jay asked annoyed. Everyone shrugged, so Jay walked over to talk to Martin to find out. They were now 5 minutes away from Pittsburgh. Everybody was ready to get off that bus, even though it was only an hour, it seemed to last forever.

The bus pulled up, and there was a mob of screaming girls outside the threater already. Big Kev had to push some off so they could get through. Sometimes the girls got out of hand and would cling to the boys, thats when the security had to come and pull them off so the boys could go and get ready to preform. The boys got all ready and went on to the stage, the crowd went wild. 

They rocked the show, but by the end of the night they were exhausted. Haley and Tianna were over sitting in a small red booth chatting away. "I just don't know what to do about Jay...." Haley said looking down at the table. "Babe, just follow your heart. I know its hard, and that sounds so cheesy, but its honestly the truth, all that matters is that you are happy." Tianna said trying to cheer Haley up. Haley looked up at her. She was in a deep thought process. She wasn't sure what to do about the whole situation.

The boys walked over and they were sweaty and tired. "I think we should just go home and get some rest, that was crazy." Max said rubbing his eyes. Nathan agreed and walked over to Haley to tell her they were leaving. "We are leaving now..girls gather your things so we can head out before we hit the traffic." He said. They rode to a hotel 10 minutes away. Everyone went straight to bed that night, except Haley. She stayed up trying to sort thorugh her feelings. She glanced over to Jay, he was sleeping so peacefully, oh did she miss laying next to him. But then she looked in Nathan's direction, he was all curled up in a ball with a slight smile on his face. He looked so happy. She was happy with him, but she didn't know if she was sure about him completely. Haley hated to have to hurt anyone but she knew in the end at least someone is going to get hurt. Haley gave up for the night and lied down to try and get some rest.
