Chapter 2-The News.

CHAPTER TWO- The News.

After a few hours had passed Haley was sound asleep, while Jay got up to check the time. “7’o’clock” Jay said quietly to himself. Jay walked over to the kitchen to make himself some buttered toast. The kitchen looked like it was a model in some kind of home magazine, for a sunny morning he thought it looked absolutely perfect. After Jay ate he grabbed his phone to call the police. “Hello?” The operator on the other line said. Jay straightened his posture and began to talk. “Yes hello, I was calling because My girlfriend and I were recently in accident and she was kidnapped but we got away, and I was wondering if you guys have any news on if you caught the guys yet that did this?” Jay said professionally. He could hear papers being crinkled on the other line. “Oh yes..lets see...this involved Haley Frish and Jay McGuiness, am I right?” The operator said. “Yes that’s right.” Jay answered. “Um...yeah I am not allowed to release any information over the phone. It’s a federal law. If you want the information you are looking for you will need to fill out several papers and it may take a few months.” The operator said in a very distinct tone. Jay was frustrated. He didn’t see why he would need to fill any type of form out just to find out who tried to kill them. “That is ridiculous. I just want to know who tried to kill my girlfriend! And if they caught them yet. I am not filling any papers out and waiting months just to see!” Jay said. He hung up. He was so angry. He calmed himself down hoping he didn’t wake Haley up. He got up and decided to check on her. When he peaked in and looked over to the bed she was gone. He looked all around the room and couldn’t find her. Then he heard someone outside. He ran out of the house. Then he saw Haley petting some stray cat she had found. “Haley! Oh my god you had me worried! I went to check on you and I couldn’t find you! What are you doing out here anyway? And who’s your new uh friend?” Jay said relieved. Haley looked up at Jay and said in a playful voice. “Oh Jay I’m fine, no need to worry! And this, this little guy I saw walking alone and he looked hungry, so I decided to give him water and treats. Isn’t he adorable?” Jay smiled at her. It would never fail to amaze him how much Haley cares for animals. Jay walked over and kissed her. “Oh Haley, you and your little animal friends.” He said with a grin on his face. Jay suddenly go serious. He knew he had to tell Haley about how the only way to find out anything about those men that kidnapped her was to fill out forms and to wait months just to hear anything. He knew she would be upset about it. “Hey...Um I need to tell you something..” Jay started off. Haley looked confused. “Okay?” She said. Jay paused for a minute trying to think how to word everything. “So I called the police this morning. And they said if we want to find out anything that we need to fill out forms and wait several months for any information....” He said. Haley didn’t know exactly what to say. “Are you serious?” She said sort of frustrated. “Yeah..I wish I wasn’t though.” Jay answered. “Why! Why would they make us have to fill out forms and wait! We don’t have months to wait! These guys are out there doing god knows what! And no one is doing anything useful!...” She said, then paused. “I just want to go back home. I love it here I do, but I hate it at the same time. I just feel that everything will be better once I know were back in London.” She said. She was upset. Haley thought the police were just crazy. She was scared to think that those guys could be out there. Out there somewhere...maybe even looking for them. Tom was attempting to make breakfast. Although he wasn’t a very good cook, he managed to make french toast without causing any fire. Tianna then walked in the kitchen and saw Tom putting the french toasts on plates. “Well, well, well what is this? Chef Thomas making gourmet breakfast?” She said sarcastically. Tom turned around and smiled. “Why yes. Now Mrs.Mack take a seat, and I will serve you in just a moment.” He said in a fancy tone and pulled out a chair for Tianna. She laughed and sat down. After her and Tom had their breakfast they decided to go out on the patio. The patio was so fancy. It had aqua blue chairs to lay out on while facing the ocean. And a cute little table between them. They both laid down on the blue chairs. It was so relaxing.  After a few hours passed, Max walked in. "Hey you guys! Its safe to come out there right?" Max said. Tom laughed in the weirdest way possible. "Well buddy you walked in on us once. But yes its safe." Max walked over to where Tom was. "Were leaving to go to the Americas in 3 hours. Get packed! I know its short notice but we just found out." Max said then turned around and walked back out. Tom and Tianna packed their things and 3 hours later everyone boarded a plane to the Americas. Tom and Tianna were sitting in the back playing games on their ipad2. "Hah I won! In your face" Tianna said in a cocky tone. Tom laughed. He let her win because he knew if he didn't she would want a rematch. Tom then grabbed the ipad from her and set it down. "I love you." He said. "I love you too....That was really random, you know?" She said back. Just when Tom was about t answer a flight intendent came by and said "Hello there, sorry to interuppt you two, but there is a fan on this plane, that insists meeting you Tom, She is spazzing out." Tom let go of Tianna's hand and got up. "Okay, Where is she?" He asked. Just then the flight intendent led him to the fan. As soon as he walked up to the fan she screamed. "OH MY GOD! TOM FROM THE WANTED! I love you!!!! Will you marry me?" Tom laughed. He loved meeting fans, but this one seemed a little bit on the crazy side. "Nice to meet you no name, and...uh...how old are you? You certainly look young for marriage." Tom said in the nicest tone. The fan suddenly had a mixed facial expression. "The name is Jen. And I'm 13..BUT the younger the better right? Oh my god I have it all planned out. We can get married at the Threater of Living Arts, and then our honey moon will be in Cuba! It will be so perfect Tom I'm telling you P-E-R-F-E-C-T..." The fan just kept rambling on. Tom was slightly creeped by her, but he knew he couldn't show that on his face so he just smiled but decided to keep quiet. Just then Tianna walked in. "Oh um Jen, this is Tianna." Tom said hoping this would get the fan to stop talking about marriage. The fan looked disgusted. "Oh hi. Are YOU Tom's girlfriend? Because well you see, Tom is going to be my fiancee, and I don't think you will be in the picture anymore" The fan said. Tom was shocked. He couldn't believe she had just said that to Tianna. Tom was about to say something while Tianna cut him off. "Hello, it's so nice to meet you." Tianna said with a smile. "And yes I may be his girlfriend, but I'm not stealing him from you, you can still love him and think all you want that you will marry him." Tianna finished. The fan was irritated. She flipped her long blonde, straight hair over her shoulder and said to Tom before she left "Blondes have more fun." Then stormed away. Tianna laughed so hard. She couldn't stop laughing, it hurt. Tom looked confused, but laughed with her. "I can't believe she said that to you, She was deffinately crazy thats for sure." Tom said. Tianna agreeed. They went back to their seats to take a nap thern. "Jay! I'm so glad were leaving, but I'm going to miss all the fans there. They were so't generous." Haley said while looking at Jay. "Yes. I know I will miss them too, but hey I wonder what America is like? I never actually been there before." Jay said. Haley let out a small laugh and said "Oh Jay America is nothing great. Trust me. I lived there all my life, and its not that nice." Jay just laughed. Then they heard a male voice come on over the speaker. "Prepare for land off. Will be landing in an hour and 15 minutes." Haley was excited after she heard that. She wasn't too fond of America but she did miss it. She decided to pull out her phone to call to call her mom to tell her she will be stopping by. Haley hasn't really talked to her mom in a month, because her mom got mad that she spent so much time over there and just missed her. "Hello?" Her mom answered. "Hey mom, It's Haley. I'm on a plane right now....I'll be in America in an hour and 15 minutes...And I planned on stopping by..there is someone I'd like you to meet..." Haley said. Her mom paused for a moment. "Okay Haley. I am at work right now, and I won't be home until 6 p.m. So you may have to stop by tomorrow anyway." "Okay mom. See you then" Haley said back. She hung up and put her phone away. Then Haley rested head on Jay's shoulder and decided to nap for an hour and 15 minutes.
