Newt shuffled into the hearing room inside the Ministry Of Magic. Professor Dumbeldore followed him in. Clara wanted to come, but Rose and Dumbeldore wouldn't let her. 

"Newt Scamander, fourth year student at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry is here for endangering a student's life." The minister said. The crowd whispered about it.

"Mr. Scamander, did you endanger the students life with an Occamy?" He asked.

"Yes sir." He said.

"And did anyone help?" The minster asked.

"No sir." Newt said, he didn't want to get Clara into trouble.

"Minister, Mr. Scamander would never purposely endanger that Gryffindor's life." Dumbeldore said. The minister ignored him.

"Do you have anything to say before we continue Mr. Scamander?" The Minister said. Newt shook his head no.

"Upon this Hearing, Newt Scamander is now expelled from Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry." The Minister said. The room stood to leave.

Following Dumbeldore out, Newt could still hear expelled fade in and out.

Clara gasped when she saw Newt's letter. He was expelled from Hogwarts! Of course, news travels like a wildfire at Hogwarts, and everyone knew. Walking down the hallway, that's all Clara heard.

"Did you hear? Newt Scamander was expelled from school!" A Gryffindor said.

"No, I don't believe it!" A Ravenclaw said, shaking her head.

"It's true! Tanner told us that his Occamy caused it!" The Gryffindor said. The Ravenclaw gasped.

"I always knew that Scamander boy was trouble." Another Slytherin said.

"Yeah! His Niffler got loose on the train when we came this year!" A Hufflepuff said. Clara frowned, walking around. Some students glanced at Clara.

"Angell's his best friend. I wonder how she feels." A Slytherin said.

"I heard she was there when it happened." A Hufflepuff said.

"Then why wasn't she expelled too?" A Gryffindor asked.

"Apparently Scamander didn't want her to get in trouble so he took all the blame." The Slytherin informed them.

"That's too bad. Newt was really nice." The Hufflepuff said. Clara sat down at the Hufflepuff table sighing. Emma and Jasper ran to Clara.

"I don't believe a word everyone's saying! Newt would never endanger some one's life!" Emma said.

"It's true." Clara said, picking at her food.

"And is it true you were there too?" Jasper asked.

"Yep. Saw it happen. I helped catch the Occamy too." Clara said.

"Wow." Emma said.

"It's kinda boring here without Newt." Clara said.

"You can hang out with us." Emma said.

"Okay...." Clara said.

"Obviously, we won't be as good as your best friend, but it'll work for now." Jasper said. Clara smiled thankfully at her two friends.
