A New Ship Sets Sail

~~Levy's POV~~
I sat there utterly shocked and terrified. Did Death the Kid actually kiss me? I blush. A month ago I would've slapped him, would've run off to Gajeel, but... but Gajeel isn't himself anymore. He's been more Phantom Lord than Fairy Tail lately and I hate him for that.

"I-I'm sorry Levy. I-i just-"

I cut him off by kissing him back.

"It's ok."

Both of us smile like idiots. A new ship for Mira? She'll either be extremely pissed or extremely excited. Either way, she's gonna be scary.

~~Mira's POV~~
I look up from my book, a weird feeling sweeping over me. What the hell just happened? My mind races through the possibilities. Did someone just die? Lose magic power? Did one of my ships sink?

"Hey! Mirajane!"

I look up to see Erza standing over me, frantic from running. "What's up, Erza?"

"Lord Death would like to see all of us in the Death Room immediately. I've already told the others."

"Ok then let's go."

We walk the corridor to Death Room. A lot of the guys here smile and wave at me and I wave back. It feels weird getting so much attention here. Because of training I've had to turn in my long dresses for shorts and short skirts. Currently I'm wearing a creme blouse and black shorts, which I know look good on me, but I still feel weird about it. There's only one guy I like and he was banished from Fairy Tail awhile ago.

We finally reach the Death Room where we see everyone here except for Kid and Levy.

"Glad all you you could make it!!!" Lord Death's voice booms through the seemingly never ending room. "In two day's time, all of you will being going on your first mission as partners. Your mentors will be there strictly as chaperones and are not to interfere. You are to be with the partners you've been practicing with."

At that a lot of people groaned, myself included.

I'm currently paired with Erza.

"ALL OF YOU SHUT UP! You are going to deal with it."

All of us turn to the door as Levy and Kid burst through, out of breath. "Sorry. We were still shopping."

I give the both of them a glance over. Something seems off. A metal ring on Levy's finger catches my eye and I'm reminded of the feeling from earlier.

"OH HELL NO!"

Everyone turns to me, extremely confused. Including Kid. Only Levy catches the look on my face and hers immediately fills with terror.

"Mira. No. Please, just ca-"

"YOU SUNK MY SHIP!!!"

I turn to Kid, anger filling my very being. That little bastard messed with one of my OTPs. I convert to my Satan Soul and stomp up to him.

"YOU. ME. FIGHT. TOMORROW AFTERNOON."

He looks horrified, but intrigued. He tosses it over in his head while Levy begs for me to rethink.

"Deal."
