Violet's POV
His response took me by surprise. Redhead apologized or at least he tried to. I didn't know his mom was dead, in fact i thought she worked at the local chemical plant. I soon realized the little game Grover played on them. "Your just gonna let em hang aren't you?" I said still facing my phone with my back towards them. "I don't know what are you talking about?" Asked Grover. "Yeah what are you talkin bout?" said the redhead. I told them how his mom actually works at the plant on the line. The Redhead didn't like the fact he was lied to and messed with. His temper rose a little bit as the conversation continued and that seemed to kinda freak out Grover. "You know what I'm in here for? I'm in here for smacking some kids head on the sidewalk for messin with me."
"I didn't mean it like that, I was just tying to lighten things up. You guys called me a loser so I thought It would be funny." Grover stated while trying to cover up what he did. "Dead mom jokes are hilarious. I know I laugh everyone I think of my dead mom." I butted in and turned towards the boys.
His face was priceless. It was a mix of shock and regret. I was surprised at how much he hated himself at that point though, as If he screwed up big time. Yet I decided to tell him that I my mom wasn't dead and hat I was just trying to prove a point. Little did he know that actually my dad is dead. He apologized to me this time and said "-got it no dead mom jokes ever again." "Don't apologize to me, I'm in here for stealing. He's the one who cracks skulls." I said referencing to the Redhead. It wasn't until a few seconds after I said that, that i realized i told Grover that i was in detention for stealing. Why did I say that? Did it just slip out or something? I just hope that he didn't pay to close of attention to what I was saying. But since all me past experiences with guys resulted in them not listening to me, I wouldn't expect anything different from him.

"Oh! Your gonna loose that phone little lady." I looked up only to see Coach but this time he was with buckets in his hands. I quickly put it back into my pocket and faced forward . "Alright people, get up here and grab a bucket. This is hard time." I stood up like everyone else and readjusted me jacket. Grover handed me a bucket with a smile. What was so funny, did he like detention? "This is fun for you?" I asked while walking in front of him. "No I'm just realizing you know where my mom works, you know who I am." Grover said with a smirk. Damit! I didn't think he would realize that. Even I didn't realize that. I probably seem super creepy and stalker-ish. But whatever I probably won't ever see him again after this detention is over.

I did this chapter kinda late at night so just bear with me please 😂😂 I think I am just gonna stick with Violet's POV but we'll see.
