Chapter 19:

Grover's POV
I immediately felt kinda bad for the way I talked to her. That's Violet's Adams. The girl of my literal dreams. But I was to scared, stressed and upset for Mary to be nice to her. I needed to do this for Mary. Hopefully my excuse wasn't as suspicious as it felt. I don't want everyone turning against me but I need to help Mary. I saw her eyes and the way the saddened.  Just a little bit of sadness could be seen in violet's eyes. It broke my heart. But I need to be strong. I can't let a girl get in the way of helping my sister. I feel so guilty yet I don't.

Violet's POV
I saw some of the stuff in the bag and I wrote it down. Then I took inventory of the nurses office. Enraged, I went straight back to Barrett. I saw him fidgeting with the radio. Apparently now we have a signal, just no one to hear it. I dropped the list on his desk, he picked it up and looked at it.  "What's this?" He asked. "Our medical inventory," I replied, "and that is all the shit Grover took." I said it with a little bit of a sour tone. I told Barrett that Grover had a fever. Which I don't think is true. "Or he wanted to be with you." Barrett announced. I tried to keep my face normal but inside I got really happy. Is it that noticeable that he likes me? To remain calm I just replied with a "he seemed off his game though." Am I seriously talking about boys with Barrett?? I never id live to see this day. I can't help but keep thinking why would Grover just shove me off like that? Did I do something? What's going on with him?  "You seem fairly on your game though." Barrett said. Immediately I gave him a confused stare. "For a-" he stuttered. "For a detention train wreck?" I replied. He noticed how he messed up. "Your words not mine, so you were in for? Vandalism? No. Contraband?" He said snarky. I got all up in his face with an intimidating look. "Murder, see I kill computer nerds." I replied. "Interesting. More than one?" He asked. "Just the curious ones." I stopped leaning on the table and I walked out of the room. If only you could see his face😂. ( you can On hulu😉)
