Violet's POV
I just start walking in front of Grover and just act like it didn't happen. It's not like it will matter because I will never see him again. I just hope he doesn't think I'm creepy. I can see on the corner of my eye that the redhead turns around to face Grover. He probably mouthed something or gave him a weird face.  We walked down the hall to a new corridor to go outside.

The hot sun blinded me, It was pretty hot outside. I couldn't help but to think about how miserable this would be. And especially since I'm wearing all black (which attracts heat) I'll be all gross and sweaty and my hair and makeup will look bad. We reach the basketball court we're all basketball players play (obviously). And off a little to the right we're the cheerleaders practicing cheers or whatever they do. As we enter the court, Coach pairs up me and Grover to scrape gum off the bleachers. I would rather be stuck with the redhead, at least he isn't a goody goody, but he still is really annoying. I asked coach how long we had to scrape the gum off. Instead of replying back to me immediately he talked to someone playing basketball. "Noodle! You got rocks in your shorts?" The boy in a red jacket shakes his legs and said "Not me Coach, the only rocks I got are the ones I was born with." Several basketball players laugh at his funny comment. All of a sudden I felt a hand on my shoulder, it was Coach. "You'll be scraping the bleachers until all the gums off." Ugh. I don't want to be at detention all day! My brother is coming back today. I really hope that Grover just does most of the work. I mean he was hitting on me in the classroom.

We started to walk over to the bleachers when we were stopped in our tracks. A loud voice came over the speakers. "Code 9: Containment breach contaminate, Ariel contamination danger. Remain indoors, close all windows, seek shelter." At first it startled me but I realized it was a code 9. We have drills for this all the time at school. It just in case something happens at the plant during school hours. "On a Saturday?" Coach interrupted the speaker. "It's a drill we can just ignore it right?" Grover asked. My only question was why would they decide to have a drill even if the whole school wasn't there?

A lot of thoughts went through my head until I heard a girl run towards us. "Coach it's not a drill, the chemical plant is on fire." The girl said panting, she had a butterfly shirt on and a pinkish jacket over it and a star headband in. She looked like a freshman. Easily. At this time about 1000000 scenarios raced through my head. Was everyone ok? Was it spreading? Is it small? Big? But the worst thing that raced into my head was Was it my fault? MY bomb? Could they tell it was me? Ok I know that last one sounded selfish but I'm just being curious. Coach ordered us around and told us where to go while he gathered more people from around the campus's outer edge. I wasn't THAT scared but I would DEFINITELY scrape gum off then to have this happen. Coach finally catches up with us as soon as we enter the building. He told us to go into the basement shelter. In the stairwell everyone was Trying to get a signal and talk to their parents.

Everyone flooded in the basement. One girl said that there was an explosion. Those were the exacted words that I didn't want to hear. I asked her if she knew what caused it, then a tall dark skinned guy said it was a huge fire. That's when everything went dark and started to shake.

Hiii!!! I think that I might add in flashbacks of time at Kent High School before the apocalypse because there are only 10 episodes and so I want to make sure that I won't run out of content. Lemme know if that's a good or bad idea.
