A twenty two year old woman, Amelia ended up working at a workplace at the wrong time. She didn't know she'll be working with her old “boyfriend,” Josh Height and his blackmailer brother, Eric at Mr. Height’s three top most famous buildings as a fashion director. And as Valentina, Josh, and Eric will be working together, things started out terrible, when Josh found out that he’ll be working with Valentina, he found a way to get her fired, but instead it gave her a promotion. Eric on the other hand, threatens Amelia that if she tells the truth to Josh what happens three years ago, Eric will soon make Amelia regret she was ever born. Instead of working together as a team to be on the top number one, they ended as the last number. Mr. Heights planes to fire one of them, but suddenly Josh tells the whole truth of what he knows.
*Flashback
I pulled her closer to me, swaying her side to side. Amelia slipped her cool hands slowly around my neck as I wrapped my arms around her waist. She is my life now, and I never want this moment to end. But something in her eye, made me think she didn’t want to be here.
“Amelia,” I said. “Are you okay?”
She nodded sadly, “yes. Why wouldn’t I?”
“Because you’re acting guilty.”
I expect her to laugh, but she just bit her lip.
“Is there something you want to tell me?” I asked afraid of what I want to hear from her.
“Just that I’m glad you took me to prom,” she said quietly.
I wasn’t convenience that was the problem. “And?”
“Josh,” she says. “There’s something I gotta tell you.”
I swallowed, “I don’t care about your past or you lied. I’m just glad you're here with me.”
“Josh, I-”
I pulled her closer more and kissed her hard down. She kissed me back and I felt the tears escape from her eyes. We were like that for a minute until a hand shoved me against the room. I looked up to see Eric. What was his problem? Eric took Amelia’s hand and ran her to the door.
