"So.." Alec turns to look at me, "How did you meet Magnus?"

I raise my eyebrows, "Really?.. This is something you want to know about now?"

He smiles, "Yeah.. Why?"

I shake my head, "No, nothing. I just-." I paused, "I didn't think you'd want to hear about that."

He chuckles.

"Um. Well... Three years ago, we had a mission, and when we finished, I decided to stay out a little longer. And um, I went to Pandemonium to have a few drinks." I paused and lightly chuckled, "Well.. Magnus was there that night. He bought me a drink and it sort of started from there."

He didn't say anything, and the smile that he had before was gone.

"Was it serious?" he asks.

I sigh, "No." I pause before continuing, "At least I don't think it was."

"Did you love him.. do you love him?" he asks with a low voice.

I hesitated before I answered, "Not in the same way I love you.. My love for Magnus is completely different."

He keeps quiet.

"So you do love him."

Before I can reply, he stops me, "It's okay."

I furrow my eyebrows, "What?"

"It was a long time ago.. Besides I can't control your feelings."

I let out a deep breath and shake my head. I embrace him in a hug, "I love you."

"I love you." he whispers.

When we pull back, I say, "I should go find Izzy. She doesn't like being left alone with Maryse."

He lightly chuckles and nods.

I walk down the hallway in search for Izzy, I begin to tie my hair in a ponytail and bump into someone.

"I'm sorry I didn't-" I pause and look up to see Robert.

"Robert?" He smiles at me and I smile back, "What are you doing here?"

I hug him and he chuckles, "I just came back from picking up Max from the Mumbai Institute."

I pull back and look at Max who is standing beside Robert, "Hey! I missed you."

I bend down and also hug him, he returns the gesture, and hugs me tightly.

"Me too." he says, "I wasn't even supposed to come back."

I stand back up, "What happened?"

"He started a fire in Mumbai with his stele." Robert replies.

I wink at Max and whisper, "Good job."

He chuckles as we fist bump.

"Where's Alec and Isabelle?" Robert asks.

"I just saw Alec, but I don't know where he went. And I was also looking for Izzy, but then I bumped into you guys.. Why don't we find them together?"

Robert smiles and nods.

We continue walking down the hallway until we hear voices that sound exactly like Alec and Izzy.

We enter the room and Robert asks them, "No "welcome home" for the old man?"

I chuckle as Izzy hugs Robert and Max hugs Alec.
