Fiona Pov
Like Renesmee and I, Tara grew up faster than normal. It has been a week since she was born, but she appears to be two years old. She can speak, walk, laugh and do more stuff.
"Mommy, where's Daddy?" Tara asked me, her pretty voice ringed throughout the living room.
"He is at his house with Hayley and Uncle Elijah." My voice was a bit morose.
Tara sat in my lap, holding a small framed picture of Niklaus and I from last year. Nik was smiling, and I was sitting on his lap, my hair tucked in a beanie.
"Why isn't Daddy here anymore?" Tara asked, her pink lips in a pout.
"Because Daddy made Mommy sad when he betrayed me with Hayley. And when I forgave him when you were born, he said that he didn't love me anymore."
Flashback
It had been two days since Tara's birth but she looked two months instead of being a newborn. I forgave Nik, but I knew there was something he was hiding from me.
He was so different.
"Fiona, we need to talk." I nodded and led Nik to the living room.
He was quiet for a while, a bit too quiet. He looked at me and when I caught him looking he looked away.
"What is it?" My voice was shaking.
"I don't love you anymore. I am sorry but I don't love you anymore."
Tears streamed down my face, burning my skin. I wiped them away angrily.
"Leave...please go away."
He didn't say anything. He left the apartment. I cried all night.
Flashback end...
This was the second time my heart was broken.
